Troutbeck is a Cotswold stone house located in the Cotswold village of Lower Swell which is surrounded by beautiful Cotswold countryside and has a 17th century Inn called the Golden Ball, providing delicious food and local real ale. It is within 2 minutes walking distance from the house. It is just one mile from Stow on the Wold where there are many excellent places to eat and drink, plus a Tesco supermarket.<BR>The propert is spacious and bright, and fitted out to a very high standard, with comfort and warmth a high priority.<BR>A HOME FROM HOME

Lower Swell has a 17th Century pub, with log fires in the winter and excellent home cooked food with local real ale brewed a mile away at Donnington Brewery. It is surrounded by beautiful walks to other villages and cycle rides.<BR><BR>I mile up the hill is Stow-on-the-Wold, which has a selection of places to eat and drink, plus tea rooms and many shops of interest. There is also a supermarket, delicatessens and family butchers. Every Thursday during the summer season there is a farmer's market in the square. A short distance away in Moreton-in-Marsh there is a large market every Tuesday all year round.
