The apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed. It was very clean and in a nice quiet area. The eggs and biscuits were a lovely welcoming gift! In a wonderful location, practically on the Cotswolds Way, with beautiful views. Well located for a peaceful countryside break or an active holiday, it's not too far to travel to lots...

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Bobby's Nook, it is so clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is gorgeous, breathtaking views and some really lovely walks on the doorstep. Gill and Mike are the perfect hosts - a warm welcome and shared their local knowledge, then left us to it. We would love to visit again soon.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay @ Nobby's Nook, May 2017. Prior to our arrival, Gill sent us detailed instructions about directions & local information. Mike welcomed us, as Gill had prior commitments with local council elections. He did a grand job instructing us on the intricacies and features of Nobby's Nook. Gill had provided a welcome package of 'goodies',...

About the neighbourhood
From Bobby's Nook you will find many public footpaths, including the Cotswold Way. In fact, we are a stone's throw from the 5 mile Selsley Circuit which offers much interest and variety, and incorporates some of the area's local industrial heritage (details are in our information pack). There are superb views to be enjoyed from Selsley Common, just a short walk up the hill, where commoners still utilise their commoners' grazing rights in summer. If you like, you can also catch a bus to Stroud, visit the highly renowned Farmers' Market and have a coffee/tea in one of the many cafes (we like Mills Cafe in Withey's Yard). The Arts and Crafts era Selsley Church is the last of the great Cotswold wool churches and is famous for its beautiful stained glass window by Wi... more
