We also include washing up liquid, tin foil, cling film, salt, pepper and oil so you don't have to think about packing anything other than your food! There is access to a shared washing machine and tumble dryer throughout your stay. Upstairs there’s a twin-bedded room (with space for a cot) and one cosy double room – both with cruck-beams, soft Egyptian cotton bed linen and fluffy towels. We have a cot and blackout blinds available on request. Both rooms have dressing tables and the twin room has a built in wardrobe. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over. All heating and hot water is included in the price of your stay. The cottage has its own terrace with outside furniture, so it’s perfect for lazy lunches and al fresco dinners overlooking a lovely, shared south facing walled garden which is abundant with wildlife. We have a well stocked DVD library for you to use throughout your stay as well as lots of maps and local information. WiFi is available free of charge, and you have your own parking space. There is a range of Clipper teas, coffee and hot chocolate for your arrival along with a bottle of our very own apple juice. Delicious, fresh local produce and fridge essentials can be arranged - just ask for more information. We (Serena, Simon & Elijah) are on hand if you need anything during your stay. Hop Pickers is surrounded by beautiful and tranquil countryside, we can’t guarantee you’ll sleep better than you ever have, but there’s a good chance you will! It’s an idyllic place to get away from it all. Dogs welcome! We offer stays for either: 7 nights starting Friday or Monday, 3 nights (long weekends) starting Friday, or 4 nights (mid-week) starting Monday.More

The cottage is comfortable, spotless, well appointed. The area is quiet and rural with plenty of walking opportunities. Local farm shops and pubs, and cider producers mean great quality local food and drink.

About the neighbourhood
Just a few steps down the lane is Aylton’s historic 12th century church, which is definitely worth a look for its beautiful sundial at the very least. And there are so many walks in the surrounding countryside that we couldn’t possibly get into them all here. We do, however, have a very well stocked ‘library’ of walks, OS maps, guides and more – just delve in and find something fantastic to do. We are perfectly situated to be a base for exploring the surrounding areas, including the wonderful market towns of Ledbury, Malvern, Hereford and Ross-on-Wye. Not forgetting the antique shops of Leominster, the bookshops of Hay-on-Wye and the foodie town of Ludlow. Our location also makes us a handy gateway to Wales, the Black Country and the Cotsw
Getting around
A car is pretty much essential to make the most of your stay here and there is plenty of parking available on site. There is a bus service into Ledbury and beyond and the nearest train station is Ledbury. The M50 is just a 15-minute drive away.
