The kitchen opens to the rear sandstone terrace. A well stocked welcome hamper awaits new arrivals.

Lovely well equipped cottage. Everything was there that we needed. Generous welcome pack provided. Weather was kind to us. Plenty of walks about. Went to Long Meg and saw the Druids' Circle.

The Grade II listed Cumbrian long house and sandstone barns date back to the 1600s. These 5* cottages properties retain many of their original features including old ship timber oak beams, oak mullion windows, flagged stone floors, open fires and stone staircases. Leave the M6 Motorway at J40 sign posted Penrith

At the roundabout take the A66 exit heading East towards Appleby/Scotch Corner

After 0.9 miles at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A686 sign posted Alston

After approx 5 miles you will reach the metal bridge, over the bridge is the village of Langwathby turn left onto Salkeld Rd

Continue on Salkeld Road for approx 5 miles towards the village of Glassonby

When you enter the village of Glassonby turn right after the children's playground and as the road bears right you will find Jenny's Croft elevated on the right
