This place is an ideal base for walking the fells or visiting Ambleside and Windermere and the property is in beautiful condition with lovely views. There are no problems now with the water supply and the water is perfectly drinkable .There had been a temporary issue in May apparently but that has been fixed and I had absolutely no problems...

Very nice property with terirific views the only problem is the water you cannot drink it or wash your teeth or wash fruit & veg, all water must be boiled. As we had 2 young children in our party it was a bit of a nuisance. This property is not suitable for infirm clients as its up a very steep...

This property is superb. The first floor sitting room has great views over the roof tops of Wordsworth's house towards Rydal Water and it is right on the famous Coffin Path to Grasmere. It was the perfect place for six adults to enjoy either easy walks from the front door or more serious walks, scrambling or climbing within easy reach....
