Self Catering bungalow style cottage will suit 4 people having 2 bedrooms (one en-suite, second bathroom across passage from 2nd bedroom). Private parking and garden, patio area with BBQ. We would like to think that anybody having a holiday in Copper View will enjoy its relaxing atmosphere, with views of the Coniston fells. Close to the village centre with local shops, post office, petrol station etc. For the more energetic walk Coniston Old Man, take part in water activities Coniston Water is only 1/2 mile away
Short Breaks available during Jan,Feb,March,Nov& Dec 3 night weekends Fri/Sat/Sun or 4 nights midweek Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs
From Easter until Nov weekly lets Saturday to Saturday. It is always worth enquiring as we may have special offers during the summer months

Interaction with guests
You collect your keys in person from ourselves (key safes are fitted on our properties but only in the case of emergency). On meeting our guests we get to know them and they get to know us. We are on hand approx 100 yards from the property should the guests need help with anything. We can suggest places to visit or which are the best walks most suitable to fit the guests abilities or advice on how to get around the area.

Copper View is a fantastic little bungalow with stunning views up to the Old Man of Coniston and the Yewdale Crags. Light, airy and very comfortable, very well-insulated. The property lacks nothing, and the village is my favourite in the Lakes as it is never quite as busy as some of the others, yet has everything to offer. Days and days of fell-walking are available right outside the front door, with an easy bus connection to Ambleside if required. I can't think of a better location for a self-catering holiday like this.

Visited with my parents and we will be back again next October. If, in the future, they ever find themselves unable to go then I intend to continue making use of the home for future stays.

We booked Copper View as a last minute short break in half term, with value for money and ease of travelling being top criteria for booking, but on arrival we were bowled over by the quality of the property. It had clearly been recently decorated and boasted high quality furnishings and an extremely well-appointed and spacious kitchen with lots of storage. It was warm and comfortable, with 2 bathrooms (each with a bath) for a 4 bedded cottage - luxury indeed! It was a 2 minute walk to the centre of the village, where we ate really well at the Crown (but had the choice of about 4 pubs and cafe/restaurants within a 200 yard radius). We would definitely go back, and were interested to hear that the property is one of 3 run by the one owner, so would look at going as part of a larger group
