We enjoyed our stay in the cottage, we were blessed with lovely weather and found the cottage to be very comfortable. We were disappointed however by the lack of privacy. The detached house directly opposite is quite literally feet away from you and if you sit outside on the bench(there is no front garden) you are looking directly into their...

You have private access to the lake -- perfect for the dog in particular. Great furnishings and lovely setting. We especially enjoyed the fireplace every night. The dog loved the walkies out the front door and in general it was a fab location to enjoy the Lake District. Highlight of our trip.
