Located between the popular destinations of Ambleside and Hawkshead, Outgate displays a handful of Lakeland cottages and the local Outgate Inn serving excellent food. The famous Drunken Duck is a short distance away and the villlage of Hawkshead a short walk across the fields.<BR>The cottage has a private patio for meals al fresco or a drink after your long walk.<BR>

We visited the Lakes to meet up with friends who were based in Grasmere. The property was easy to find, though there was a delay in receiving the final instructions and we received them on the way to the Lakes. The facilities were what was needed with a comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and excellent shower. There is no internet...

This cottage provided a very well-equipped, cosy and quiet base for trips out to our favourite haunts. Would love to return soon!
