A luxury apartment in the peaceful village of Portinscale, on the edge of Derwentwater. Within easy walking distance of Keswick and ideally situated for exploring the Northern Lakes.

The one bedroom ground floor apartment is set within a traditional Lakeland building and has been refurbished to a high standard, with central heating. Graded by Visit Britain as 4 Star, the accommodation sleeps 2.

There is a spacious open-plan living/dining area and a fully fitted kitchen with integrated oven/hob, washer/dryer, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.

Stayed for three nights and could not fault the place. One of the best quality holiday rentals we've experienced. Good location, fitted out to a very high standard, warm. comfortable and spotlessly clean. The thoughtful owners have not only made a real effort to anticipate what their guests might need but they're nice people to deal with as well. Highly...

Portinscale sits on the edge of Derwentwater, just 15 minutes walk from the bustling centre of Keswick which has all local services, pubs, restaurants, etc. There is a pub and restaurant in the village itself but the main attraction has to be the stunning views of the fells surrounding the lake, which can easily be explored on foot from the doorstep of Harney Peak.
