The cottage has a wealth of local information including maps and walking routes. Free Wifi allows guests to look up current events eg cinema show times, and activities plus essentials such as mountain weather forecasts. Guests can contact me with questions at any time via phone, text or email. Living locally I am on hand to answer questions or sort out any problems.

San Ging is a modern, comfortable house. There's lots of space and we really liked the location, even though a brisk walk into town and uphill on the way back, we liked doing that. The views from the lounge are fabulous, great for watching sunsets....More

We stayed as a family of 6, 5 adults and 1 seven month old baby. There was plenty of room for both families to have their own space and the baby even had her own bedroom! Plenty of parking for two cars and additional facilities...More

Had a lovely stay in this spacious comfortable house with the most wonderful views. Great that you can walk into Keswick. House well equipped, comfy beds. Extremely warm underfloor heating.

San Ging sleeps up to 8 in two double rooms, a twin room and a bunk room. There is a large family bathroom and an ensuite shower room, plus a further toilet. The living areas are spacious with the lounge overlooking Bassenthwaite lake and the sunroom making a further quiet place to relax. The dining kitchen provides an ideal place to get together to eat. Bed linen is provided and towels may be hired for a small charge.

Keswick town centre is approx. 20mins walk. The no 555 bus stops on the main road at the end of the cul-de-sac where the house is located.

From the M6:
Leave the motorway at junction 40, A66 Penrith. Follow the A66 west towards Workington and the west/north lakes, and proceed to Keswick.
At Keswick follow the signs for the A591 towards Grasmere. The house is approx. 500m in a cul-de-sac on the left.
The nearest station is Penrith. From there take a bus to Keswick.
