Recently awarded a Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence, Grasmere lodge is a deluxe 2 bed lodge situated within the exclusive White Cross Bay holiday park on the shores of Lake Windermere in the heart of the Lake District National Park. The lodge has one double with an on suite bathroom and a twin bedroom and a further family bathroom. The lodge also benefits from a sofa bed in the living room for extra space. The lodge can fit a maximum of 4 people and one baby under 2 (in a cot) and included in your stay is all linen (for the main bedrooms) and towels. The lodge is furnished to a high standard and includes a fully fitted kitchen, dining room that can seat four persons and for your comfort the lodge is equipped with the following:

The chalet is conveniently located and surprising quiet and peaceful despite the proximity of other chalets filled with families. It's very clean and thoughtfully provisioned with everything you need with small touches like night lights & highchair for kids and maps and brochures of the Lakes. Lovely lodge in a beautiful setting, family friendly very clean with utensils, coffee etc provided Mark really easy to communicate with, directions were excellent, only downside was finding the lodge once arrived very badly signposted on the park site. Will definitely go back even the dreadful weather will not put us off returning.

Booked this lodge last minute and communication from Mike the owner was excellent. The lodge itself is clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend to friends and family and wouldn't hesitate to re boo it ourselves.

It location is within easy reach of all major visitor attractions this delightful part of the country has to offer and all only a 30 minute drive from junction 36 of the M6.<BR>
