The Northern line, working 24h non-stop on weekends, will get you to Big Ben and major attractions in 18 minutes! The warm atmosphere and the vintage design make this flat unique and perfect for your stay! Space Come on in! Welcome to my 1-bedroom apartment. It beautifully mixes vintage and modern details, creating a unique design with lots of character. The icing on the cake is the romantic and private garden for your exclusive use. The master bedroom lets plenty of natural light coming in through the wide window. The bed will be dressed in lavish linen, for a wonderful night’s sleep. There are lots of storage space, thanks to the wooden closet and chest of drawers. Several plants and the beautiful wooden flooring enhance the cosy, welcoming atmosphere of this Londoner nest. The family bathroom is a small oasis where you can relax. Soak into the modern tub - soft, cotton towels and toiletries are provided for everyone. The kitchen and living room share an open-plan layout, the perfect frame for design elements such interesting art wall and the vintage pottery. Pick one of my favourite books from the bookshelf, maybe a classic: get into London’s atmosphere to its fullest! The comfy sofa seats two people, but you’ll find additional seatings on the shabby-chic chair and at the wooden dining table. Grab a recipe book and head to the kitchen! You’ll find everything you need to prepare mouthwatering lunches or dinners. Modern appliances and spacious cupboards are ready for you! The best part of the flat though is yet to come: the French doors at the bottom of the living room lead to the private garden. Enjoy the peace of this place - the very best corner of the flat. Summer nights will be just perfect! High chairs and travel cots can be provided on request. Our property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. Access Guests can access the entire property. It is paramount that we are respectful towards our neighbours. Interaction My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are a short-lets management service team who know London like the back of their hand! I trust them to look after you and give you a warm welcome! If you have any questions about your stay, please get in touch through the channel platform. Neighborhood For such an urban area, Archway has a surprising number of parks and green spaces. The largest is Waterlow Park, a hillside park in Highgate Hill with views over central London. It is home to Lauderdale House, an arts and education centre with a café. There’s some fine new planting and **** Whittington’s topiary cat at the Holloway Road entrance to Whittington Park, which has an outdoor gym and a café run by the local community association. Elthorne Park in Hazellville Road has the Philip Noel-Baker Peace Garden; Dartmouth Park in Dartmouth Park Hill boasts good views over central London, and Girdlestone Park is in Vorley Road. If you’re looking for somewhere nice to go eating to, here are some tips! In Junction Road, Bread and Bean is a popular coffee shop, Stagnells Bakehouse is a long-established bakery, and Shinobi Sushi is a Japanese restaurant. St John’s Tavern is marked out by its two large exterior lanterns and its interesting gastropub menu, while Theatre of Wine, a small chain with other branches in Leytonstone and Greenwich, holds regular wine tastings, and there is a fishmonger. The Spoke is an all-day eatery run by the Bread and Bean folk, with the strapline “coffee, burgers & cycling”, and 500 Restaurant, with an Italian menu, is named after the Fiat 500 car. Tucked way in Dartmouth Park Hill, Cricks Corner is an independent coffee shop. Trattoria Terra is a beautiful little Italian restaurant with fantastic food and wine, a welcoming atmosphere and very reasonable prices. The Old Dairy has an amazing history, as it used to be a creamery (hence the name!) and is in a stunning building. Food is great and it has just had a refurb, so is a lovely place to go any time of the day. Just opposite Crouch Hill Station, Max’s serves ENORMOUS sandwiches and booze, perfect for an evening feast, as it is only open from 5 pm in the week. Transit Archway station is on the High Barnet branch of the Northern line Tube with trains to the City and the West End. Upper Holloway is on the Gospel Oak to Barking Overground line. Both stations are in Zone 2. There are plenty of buses including the No 17 to London Bridge via St Paul’s; the No 43, also to London Bridge but via Islington; the No 134 to Tottenham Court Road; the No 271 to Moorgate and the No 390 to Notting Hill via Oxford Street.
