The house retains original Victorian features and minimal, yet tasteful interiors. The large open plan living room has a seating area, fireplace and wide-screen TV at the front, and opens into a second reception area, leading to the back of the house. French doors open onto the back garden. There is a light, eat-in kitchen big enough for the whole family with a dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge freezer. The back door opens onto a south-facing garden, which is a sun trap in summer and wonderful for an evening al fresco drink or for children to play.

About the neighbourhood
The Oval cricket ground is a must for sports fans, to see a match or take a tour of the grounds. On match days, and during Test matches, you may hear the cheers when a team hits a 'six'. There are numerous cafés, restaurants and useful shops in a couple of minutes walk on Clapham Road and Brixton Road. The historic Beefeater gin factory also offers tours, and the nearby City Farm is great for kids.

Vauxhall offers more restaurants and cafés such as Counter, The Beehive gastropub and the community-run vegetarian Bonnington Café. The most distinctive building in Vauxhall is the M16 office block, famous in the current James Bond films.
