Just a 3 minute walk to Baker Street station, you have great transport links that will get you around London in minutes. The modern and chic apartment, in a Grade II listed Georgian building, overlooks Regent’s Park and is a short stroll away from the Sherlock Holmes Museum, Madam Tussaud's and Oxford Street. Marylebone is home to a multitude of restaurants and bars. Space The apartment is contemporary and spacious, with light wood flooring, luxuriously appointed in a Scandinavian-inspired design aesthetic and suffused with natural light and positive vibes in every corner. The bright and cheery living room greets you upon entering the apartment. The large Georgian windows allow in the sun, while the fireplace, oversized pendant lamp and dimmer enable mood lighting in the night. You can lounge on the huge L-shaped sofa-cum-bed and armchair, fitted with soft pillows and down throw rugs, and unwind and maybe catch a film or your favourite Netflix show on the 52-inch flatscreen TV. A spacious 4-seater dining table, placed in front of the art gallery wall, will accommodate your flock for a lovely meal together. You can enjoy gorgeous views of Regent’s Park from here. The modern kitchen is fitted with a fridge, dishwasher, electric hob, oven and washing machine, as well as a coffee maker, toaster, juicer and electric kettle. You can help yourself to our tableware and cutlery. You can take your pick of 2 spacious family bedrooms – the master bedroom has a king-sized bed, while bedroom 2 has a double bed. Both are equipped with hotel-quality linens, blackout roller blinds on windows, floor-to-ceiling mirror wardrobes and convenient charging points for your electronic devices. The master bedroom also boasts a 36-inch flatscreen TV. There are 2 bathrooms. The first is an elegant, marble-finish ensuite bathroom, with a splendid bathtub for you to relax in. The second bathroom, located in the hallway, is set up with a glass shower cabin and a rain shower. We will be happy to provide you with bath linens and toiletries. The property will be professionally cleaned before your stay. High chairs and travel cots can be provided on request. Access Guests can access the entire property. It is paramount that we are respectful towards our neighbours. While there is a fully functional elevator in the building, there are small steps to climb. About 7-8 to get to the elevator and again about 7-8 from the elevator to the house. So it's not step free and a buggy/wheelchair would need to be carried for those steps. Interaction My friends at Hostmaker are looking after my home while I am away; they are a short-lets management service team who know London like the back of their hand! I trust them to look after you and give you a warm welcome! If you have any questions about your stay, please get in touch through the channel platform. Neighborhood Marylebone is a vibrant and bustling neighborhood in Zone 1, Central London, with myriad options for food and drink. It is very leafy and safe and has quick transports links in all directions. More information The closest tube is Baker Street station, just a 3 minute walk by foot. With access to 5 different lines - Bakerloo, Jubilee, Circle, Hammersmith, and Metropolitan, you can get to any part of London in a matter of minutes - Big Ben (7 minutes), Piccadilly Circus (9 minutes) and Soho/ West End (10 minutes) amongst others. Marylebone station is also just a 7 minute walk, from where you can take direct trains to the beautiful university town of Oxford (60-80 mins) and designer outlet boutiques of Bicester Village (50 mins). Regent's Park is just across the road. The world’s oldest zoo, the London Zoo, is within Regent’s Park. You could start early and get to Sherlock Holmes Museum (1 minute by foot) and Madame Tussauds (5 minutes by foot) before the queues begin to gather. In case you’re keen to shop, take a stroll down Baker Street or the more trendy Marylebone High Street to get to Oxford Street within 15 mins. Lord’s Cricket Ground is a 5 minute drive. The area is full of restaurants, pubs, cafés and supermarkets and some of them are among the most famous in London. Some of my recommendations: Ill Blandford and Bill’s cafe do good, wholesome breakfast Opso does small Greek tapas Honest Burgers Trishna - 1 Michelin star Indian restaurant famous for seafood Natural Kitchen - great if you have kids with you. They offer organic and healthy meals. You can grab a drink at The Volunteer or Windsor Castle (both a minute walk away) Supermarkets are available at your door step – with Tesco Express and Co-op a 2 minute walk away. For organic produce and world food, The Fruit Garden (3 minute walk) makes an excellent choice. Transit Just a 3 minute walk to Baker Street station, you have great transport links that will get you around LMore
