'Away-from-it-all' but right in the city, this 900 sqft apartment is in a quiet low-rise development in a peaceful location, but just moments from all the facilities and excitement of Canary Wharf.

There are two bedrooms;
Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, 1.5m wide (5'0') x 1.9m (6'3') long.
Bedroom 2 can be arranged as required, with either
a) one single bed 0.9m wide (3'0) x 1.9m (6'3') long, or
b) two single beds, 0.9m (3'0') wide x 1.9m (6'3') long and 0.75m (2'6') wide x 1.8m (6'0') long, or
c) put together to make one super king size bed 1.65m (5'6') wide x 1.9m (6'3') long max. However, access is only possible from one side of the bed.

Arriving and departing is very easy and flexible, and operates on a self-check-in system. The key will be in a key-safe, and shortly before your arrival you will be advised of the location and code for the key safe, so you can let yourselves in at any time after 16.00. On the day of departure I would appreciate the apartment being vacated by 10.00, and the keys returned to the key safe. The landlord does not live locally, but there is a book in the apartment containing maps, information on the apartment and local facilities, instructions for all appliances, code for WiFi, and other useful details.

We stayed for 8 nights during a heat wave and slept comfortably every single night thanks to a gentle breeze from the water. Woke to ducks, geese and even a family of three baby swans paddling around right in front of our porch. Highly recommended.

What a nice flat.... fantastic View, very tidy and Gillian does have a lots of good Tips for a stay in London.... We will come back.

Spacious, light and airy living room with large windows on two sides providing wonderful views across the water to Canary Wharf. Glazed doors opening onto west-facing balcony. Comfortable leather sofabed and chairs, dining table, TV with Freeview & DVD. WiFi Internet.

The sleeping accommodation is very flexible, to sleep up to 6 people, plus a small child in a cot.
Bedroom 1 has a king (5ft/1.5m) bed.
Bedroom 2 can have EITHER one OR two single beds (3ft/0.9m & 2ft9in/0.8m) OR a superking (5ft9/1.7m), (access from one side only).
The living room has a good quality double (4'6'/1.35m) sofa bed with thick comfortable mattress.

London Docklands is a thriving mixture of contrasts, from the city bankers to the working river barges, with a colourful multi-cultural local community, offering restaurants of every nationality. Diverse local shops include high fashion stores in the Docklands malls as well as a useful tiny supermarket one minute away from the apartment. There are excellent transport links to all the historic sights and best shopping areas of central London and the 02 Arena is 10 minutes away. But the apartment is a haven of peace and quiet, just 10minutes walk from the city bustle

It is easily accessible by public transport from all London airports and train terminii. Alternatively, we can arrange taxis to collect you from any point of arrival, and costs can be advised in advance.
If you are coming by car, there is a private, lockable garage available with the apartment.
