I cannot say enough about my choice to rent from David. A lovely man who was available to greet me and give me the "low-down" on the rental and the neighbourhood. Bankside is a vibrant part of London and I had great fun most evenings just remaining in that area and the nearby Borough market. Quick walk to the Underground...

About the neighbourhood
London's South Bank is one of the best locations for a trip to the capital. The neighbourhood is lively and busy, but has lots of opportunities to relax.
As well as the many local attractions, there are great transport links, and it's easy and pleasant to walk to other tourist destinations.
Our favourite walk is along the south bank via Southwark Cathedral, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Tate Modern, the Royal Festival Hall and the London Eye and crossing Westminster Bridge to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. This can be done in half an hour, with great views of the City of London and St Paul’s Cathedral on the way, but you will probably want to stop along the way to enjoy just being here.

The accommodation is a 5 minute walk from London Bridge underground station, a 10 minute walk from London Bridge rail station and a 2 minute walk from bus stops.
If you arrive by underground, please take the Borough Market exit. Continue along Southwark Street when you reach street level. Once you have gone under a railway bridge, turn right onto Redcross Way. Your apartment is at the end of the Redcross Way, near the junction with Park Street.

Heathrow airport - Piccadilly line to Green Park, change to the Jubilee line to London Bridge – approx. 1 hr
Gatwick airport - train to London Bridge rail station – approx. 1 hr
Eurostar - Northern line to London Bridge station – approx. 20 mins
