About the neighbourhood
Zone 2. The neighbour hood is a big colourful mix. There are million dollar houses and there are council estates. I've lived in the area 20 years and never had any trouble - its safe. The transport links are endless - 2 tubes within 10-15min walk (8 mins if you use the shortcuts), and 24 hour bus 30 steps from your door step. Off street parking in private close. Many independent supermarkets on the Roman road, fishmongers, coffee shops, markets. The house is magically quiet. My neighbors range from young designers (20s), to middle age professionals with children (30s-40s). We are a block from Victoria park, Regents canal and mile end park - we have space and you dont feel like you are in a concrete jungle.
