Whitby, Scarborough District, North Yorkshire, England
Set in a peaceful location yet within easy reach of the A171, Swallows Rest is one of three cottages, converted & renovated in 2013 from a stone agricultural barn dating back to 1760. Many original features have been retained & the cottage has been decorated to a high standard. Designed for your comfort in all seasons, the cottage is fully insulated with under-floor heating downstairs to make a cozy retreat in the winter months.
A cooler escape in the summer with stone floors, french doors opening onto a patio with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and to the sea. Here in the North Yorkshire Moors, we can boast wonderful sunrises and sunsets, along with amazing dark skies for star gazing. We are sure you will enjoy your stay & have a wonderful time exploring the villages, moors and coast surrounding us. Clo...
