About the neighbourhood
Moorsholm is ideally situated and within easy reach of all the fascinating features and towns in the area. We have a large number of books, maps and leaflets which will guide you through and make sure that you have lots to see and do during your stay. The area has a fascinating history and Kirkleatham Museum (free entrance) houses an exhibition of items and jewellery of an Anglo Saxon princess which was found in a farmers field a few miles from the cottage.
How to get there
Moorsholm village is situated just off the main A171 road between Guisbrough and Whitby. The road sign indicating the turning into Moorsholm is clearly seen on the roadside. On leaving the main road the cottage is approximately half a mile on the left hand side just before the Church.
