Perfect location to explore, we didn’t even have to use the car for the first three days. Very clean and well equipped accommodation. Would highly recommend

We cannot, due to our cleaners terms, accept bookings that start on a Sunday if another party is leaving on that same day.

Keys are posted out (at our cost) via Royal Mail 1st class signed for service, minimum of a week in advance of your stay (or longer if needed). Keys to be returned (at your cost) using the provided self addressed white jiffy envelope. This can be either 1st or 2nd class but must be using the signed for delivery system (the sticker will be pre-attached to the envelope).

* Check in time is 3pm and check out time is 10.30am
* Strictly no smoking inside the property.

* 25% of rental fee due within one week of booking.

* Balance of rental fee due within 6 weeks of date of stay.

About the neighbourhood
Whitby has a fascinating and unique past It is an historic fishing port located on two banks of the River Esk and connected by an historic and fully operational swing bridge. The town encompasses not only fishing but shipbuilding, geology, Captain Cook, the abbey and of course Count Dracula.
The town offers a plethora of shops ranging from crafts, antiques, picture galleries, locally made jewellery and maritime memorabilia all to be found on its quaint cobbled streets. In addition to this its miles of sandy beaches, donkey rides, fishing trips from the harbour and steam railway make it the ideal place to stay for people of all ages.
Getting around
Whitby railway station is in the centre of town and is served by Northern Trains and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The former runs up to Middlesborough on the Esk Valley railway line and the latter runs on the same line but branches off at Goathland to take you to its current destination of Pickering.

In addition to rail transport there are regular buses up the coast and in land taking you to Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and York/Leeds. The bus station is outside of the railway station.
