Fab cabin, excellent location and a hot tub!!

A lovely, quiet, secure location with a great village pub within walking distance and well placed to explore York and surrounding attractions. A friendly welcome from Mark and Diane, wine in the fridge on arrival and a very clean, comfortable and well-stocked cabin. Our daughter...More

About the neighbourhood
The lodge is set in a country setting an edge of village location, there is a very good pub/restaurant within walking distance. Good local riverside or canal side walks. We are 3 miles from the Yorkshire Air Museum and the Airfield at Elvington, York Maze is 4 miles and the Grimston Bar park & ride on the south east side of York is 5 miles. There is a local shop within 2 minutes drive or 25 minutes walk.
Getting around
A car is recommended to get out and about to see the sights. There is a local bus service to York and Pocklington (a local market town) or we have an agreed taxi fare with a local company.
