We stayed over New Year with children and found the property great. Warren and Stuart were great to deal with and answered any questions we had straight away. Our stay at the town house was amazing..The location superb.Thank you Warren and Stuart for all the extras to welcome us.My family and I really enjoyed our stay.Really clean and beds were like sleeping on clouds.Cant wait to return.

About the neighbourhood
The quiet street of Ogleforth joins Chapter House street some 10 metres from the front of the Townhouse which represents the old via decumana of the Roman fortress which can be visited underneath the Minster, and was the main N.E entrance into York until the building of Monk Bar (gatehouse) in c 1330. Now this tiny cobbled street simply joins the quiet street of Ogleforth to the Chapter House of York Minster, as well as providing entrance to the beautiful Treasurer's House (National Trust property) and Grays Court, where you can enjoy the tea and cakes in its historic rooms or garden overlooking the city walls.

From any of the main routes into York join the A1036 circling the city. Travelling in a clockwise direction, join Lord Mayors Walk and turn right into Goodramgate, driving through the city walls. By Foot from York Train Station:
The property is a comfortable 15 minute walk from York Station. Turn left out of the station onto Station Avenue, the city walls will be on your right hand side.
