This beautifully presented barn conversion is a perfect property and location for families or small groups to use when visiting the Cotswolds. Set on the edge of a hill just outside the beautiful village of Ascott, itself situated in the northern Cotswolds, WYTON'S PIECE is an immaculate and spacious holiday property that we loved when we inspected it.

The barn is single storey barn with a very large, open plan living area which has an enormous sofa, wood burning stove and stunning views across the open fields. Outside the surrounding countryside is glorious and there are some fabulous walks from your door in every direction. This is an excellent holiday property, ideal for families or small groups alike and one which we heartily recommend.

We visited this cottage as a family and thought it was excellent. It is very spacious with lots of facilities. It is close to lots of great places. We visited moreton on marsh, stow, burford, Chipping norton, the Cotswold animal park and Adam hensons farm park as well as Blenheim palace. It is a great base to explore from. The...

This cottage exceeded our expectations. It is well furnished and decorated with a modern kitchen and bathrooms, while still keeping the beams and feel of a cottage. It was very bright and spacious, which was great for the toddler in the group! The owners were very helpful, leaving a high chair and cot and some toys out so we didn't...

Stayed as a family group of 6, 2 generations, at the end of January. Collected keys from the owner who lives 2 minutes away (by car). Had very comprehensive welcome and tour of Wytons Piece which is set off a single track lane, overlooking fields and the beautiful Cotswold countryside. We brought plenty of warm clothing with us as the...

About the neighbourhood
Ascott is an attractive hamlet situated on the norther edges of the Cotswolds in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', in the Warwickshire countryside close to the Oxfordshire border. The village is relatively unspoilt and has a lovely selection of period houses scattered around the lanes, in fact it's a delightful example of an 'olde England' village!

The neighbouring village of Whichford, similarly pretty, has a good public house The Norman Knight - approx 1.5 miles away. Long Compton, also nearby, has a village shop. For local produce Wyatt's Farm Shop is within 3 miles and the popular Daylesford Organic Farm Shop is just 9 miles away from the village of Ascott.
