Our old town house is a 'home from home' for the many guests that stay here. Recent refurbishments, which enhance the historic features, are to a high and comfortable standard. Behind the house is a charming enclosed secluded garden; a lovely sun trap. The house is located in a historic, conservation area of Ludlow, beneath the only surviving town gate and just 5 minutes walk to the town centre and castle. Ludlow is a delightful market town described as an architectural gem with a lively community feel. What fantastic place! It was warm cosy and homely. A perfect nights sleep all week! It had everything that u needed to feel rught at home.

We very much enjoyed our time in Ludlow because of this charming home. It was exceptionally clean and organized with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The location was just down the street from the main town so walking to restaurants and shops was easy to do. Parking was never a problem and we loved how each night the street became...

Please contact us if you are interested in any other length of stay or about our short notice breaks ( 2 weeks ahead) where we are happy to offer a 10% discount.
Once availability and cost have been confirmed with us, 50% of the full cost is required to secure the booking.
The balance is payable 6 weeks before the booking date. Should you wish to stay beyond 10 am on Sundays then are happy for a charge of £50 to let you stay until 4 pm. Payments can be made through this webiste, via paypal or by cheque (to 'N L Firth'), or directly into our bank account.
A refundable deposit of £50 is required for the key. Upon full payment being received, the key access details will be emailed to you approximately 10 days prior to the booking.
Extra bedding can be provided but an additional laundry cost will be levied.

Ludow castle is a well preserved monument to the town’s former prominence in the Welsh Marches and forms the back drop to most of the festivals held throughout the year. (http://www.ludlow-shropshire.com/index.php). <BR><BR>This includes the famous food festival in September, a medieval Christmas fare in November and an summer festival (June/July). National trust properties close by include Croft Castle and Berrington Hall. The English Heritage’s Stokesay Castle is well worth a visit. <BR><BR>In nearby Mortimer forest there is horse riding and for the more adventurous mountain biking.
