Interaction with guests
I send over information about parking and directions at the time of booking usually. The code for the key safe I usually send much nearer the time. I leave a welcome message on the table.

I don't meet guests at the property as they can let themselves in at a time to suit themselves. I send an email or a text to ask if everything is ok generally that evening or the next day, and once again before they leave mostly. My contact details are in the file and guests are welcome to contact me anytime.

I take the view that the guests are on holiday and usually not interested in meeting the owner of the holiday accommodation they have paid for. I wouldn't be, if it was me!

Management response:

Thank you for this lovely review. Always pleased to read how much guests have enjoyed their stay (and the cakes!), and to have you back again. Have always tried to make the cottage how I would want it to be if I was to stay there myself, and to make sure it is always warm in the cooler months. Thanks...

A lovely cottage, very well equipped and very central to Ludlow. It also had a lovely view from the bed as well.
