The House itself is constructed from the famous Bath stone and has been lovingly restored to its former grandeur and tastefully decorated throughout. Many of the original Georgian features remain including beautiful stone fireplaces and surrounds, large sash windows with shutters, panel doors and architraves. The house has great views, to the front is the Georgian facade of Walcot Parade and to the rear you have sweeping views of the Bath skyline and surrounding hills. There is 1 parking space at the back of the house, at the front there is 30 min parking for unloading. More

What a wonderful house The Merchants House is. Perfect for our group celebration. Large communal rooms for us all to be together and just a stroll from the centre of Bath.

How to get there
From M4 take A46 and the A4 London Road into bath, the Merchants House is located just on your left after the traffic lights and turn towards cleveland bridge just as you enter the Bath central zone.From Train Station the house is a short walk or taxi ride. If walking leave station and carry straight along Manvers street and straight on past the abbey. Continue straight on past Waitrose towards Walcot Street, continue straight until you hit the roundabout at the top of Walcot Street and carry straight onto London Road. The house is just on your right past the Methodist Church and before the right hand turn towards Cleveland Bridge.From Bristol Airport take bus link to train Bristol Temple Meads train station, take train to Bath Central train station and follow directions above.
