Memorable weekend
The apartment is in the most perfect location, in a quiet street just a minute away from bars, shops etc... everything that you would want to do when visiting Bath is within walking distance. The apartment itself is really well presented and very clean and tidy. The beds are brand new and really comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom facilities were really good quality. Books, DVD's, stereo and large flatscreen TV made it feel like home instead of a strange place. Couldnt fault it, would defiitley stay there again, wouldnt even bother to look for something different and would recommend to friends and family. There is also an amazing toy shop below and if you grew up in the 80's you will really appreciate and want to spend your money on the stock!

Perfect place, perefect location
We rented this for the weekend and as soon as we arrived we realised we had found a gem. Firstly the friendly personal welcome by Paul who helped us in, showed us around and most importantly in the Bermuda Triangle that is the Bath one way system let us follow him in his car to the nearest car park.Secondly , the location ; the beautiful central but quiet square with a huge plane tree in the middle made you feel like you had stumbled into a Georgian period drama. Thirdly the apartment itself , yes there are a lot of stairs but this means that within the apartment you have room to be with your friends and yet have privacy. The lounge overlooking the square was light , airy and very comfortable so much so that after going out on Friday night we all wanted to curl up on the huge sofa and watch a dvd in Saturday. Lovely white sheets , white fluffy bath towels , very comfortable beds, books , games , music, flowers , provisions to start you off and a bottle of wine already in the fridge made this a much better option than a hotel. We had the best weekend ever and cannot wait to return.

Hen Party Heaven
Just back from an amazing weekend in Bath, when we stayed in Mignon House. The flat was tastefully-decorated, with spacious, luxurious rooms and was very clean and well-appointed. The owner, Paul, was exceedingly accommodating - brilliant communication beforehand (with him even offering to come and meet us from the station to help us carry our bags!) and as there was no one else booked in for today/ tonight when we were due to leave, we were able to leave our bags there all day rather than carrying them around with us all day! The location was PERFECT - set in an idyllic little green, which although it was right in the middle of town, right next to M&S for food shopping and literally 2 minutes' walk from all the clubs/ restaurants we went to, was still very quiet as it is pedestrianised and the extra glazing worked a treat. It was a real gem and a great bargain for a large group.

Centre of the Centre
Right in the middle of the town centre but providing a very quiet, peaceful and green environment. The 200 years old plane tree is just outside the windows and the Abbey Green has a long history http://www.freshford.com/abbey_green_bath.htm You can always go back to the house and take a rest whenever you feel tired during the wonderful shopping. While sleeping at night, in the rooms facing the back of the house, keep the windows closed to avoid the noise of sea gulls. No chance to use the new washing machine and parking permit which are all ready by now. Highly recommended to those who are attending the U of Bath congregation which is held every year at the Bath Abbey, so so so convenient. All in all, a great holiday house!

Great location, lovely decor, and 5* bedding!
My brother who lives in Singapore came back to the UK for a week and hired Mignon House for a long weekend family get-together. Our party consisted of three couples and my 8 year old daughter. I didn't arrive till later on friday afternoon, but my brother and sister said how lovely, helpful and welcoming Paul was on arrival. The location is brilliant. Right in the middle of town, but tucked away just enough to be not too noisy. And a hop, skip and jump from the back door of M&S, which is perfect for last minute breakfast supplies. The house is tastefully decorated and well equipped in both the kitchen (we found everything we needed including essentials like oil salt, pepper, tea and coffee, jam etc.) and living room (board games, books, great dvd collection and wifi). The fresh flowers and bottle of wine was a lovely welcome too. I was very impressed with the beds and bedding, lovely white cotton sheets and soft fluffy pillows and duvets. It was the most comfortable nights sleep I have ever had in a hotel/b&b/rental (and I am very fussy with my pillows, I always bring one of my own goose down ones when ever I stay overnight somewhere!). The only suggestion I might make is that with a large group of people staying in one house it might be useful to have two sets of front door keys so that it makes it easier for groups to split up and do different things. But that was a very minor inconvenience. It was such a lovely house that at the end of our short stay, we all felt disappointed that we weren't staying for the rest of the week! Like a previous reviewer said, We all would definatly stay at Mignon House again, wouldn't even bother to look for something different and will certainly recommend to family and friends. Thanks Paul!

Hidden Gem in terms of location, price, quality
We booked this flat on holidaylettings website while planning our stay in Bath. The owner Paul was welcoming and there was Cava/milk/ciabatta/necessities for us in the kitchen. The rooms are well-sized and comfortable with clean bathrooms and 5* beds with crisp cotton linen. I slept like a baby. We didn't hear any street noise and the windows overlook a nice Georgian square. You feel like you are at the heart of Bath. MnS (and its foodhall) are just next to the flat as well as the famous pub in Bath - Crystal palace. Not to mention the proximity of all the sites like Bath Abbey, Roman Baths, Pulteney and Thermal Spa. We did some shopping while in Bath and at some point went back to the flat to drop the bags and go back to shopping, very handy. We came by car and were given a central zone car permit by the owner. All in all, I would definitely recommend this holiday let and would stay here again even if the owner doesn't start a loyalty program.

Best holiday rental we've ever stayed in!
Mignon House was fab. Paul the owner was great. We arrived early but the house was ready and we were able to get in straight away. My husband & 4 children (aged 20, 17, 7 & 4) loved the house. Plenty of space, excellently appointed, comfortable beds, the property is well presented. It felt like home! We were able to relax from the first moment we arrived. Its location is amazing, right in the centre of Bath. Once we had arrived & unloaded the cars, we didn't use them again until we left. We saw the Roman Baths, had a walking tour of Bath, visited the Fashion Museum, did a tour of No 1 The Crescent, had a day in Bristol and still had time for retail therapy in Bath. The only disappointing fact was the break went too quickly and there is still so much to do - I guess we will just have to make a return visit!

Fantastic nothing more needed to be said!!!
Well I came accross this property whilst looking for accommodation for myself and my friends for my sisters wedding in bath abbey itself. The location of this propty was perfect for a short 2 minute walk to the abbey. The house is cozzy and feels like home from home the supplies of this property from cooking equipment, bathroom needs and bedding made the stay have no hastle. The propert is in a lovely quiet collection of properties and ideal for hosting drinks when others come to visit! The hospitality of welcoming and exiting of the property was great and very accomodating! I would with out doubt hire this venue again and give this property a high recommendation to others I know looking for a break in bath!!!!!!! Thank you so so much!

Perfect time with Friends in Perfect location
This property couldn't be located any better in a peaceful and beautiful square just seconds walk from the Abbey and a few minutes stoll from the Thermae Spa and main shopping streets. Parking is an issue, but nothing to be concerned about when everything you need is right on the doorstep, and thed owner is very open about this and provides plenty of details of alternative places to park. The owner himself could not have been more accommodating to us, and assisted with every request we had. My friends and I had a delightful time and if I come to Bath again in a group, will definitely hope to stay in this property again. Thanks for help making this a memorable occasion!!!
