3 Herschel Place has its own front door leading from a small private patio into the spacious open plan living room and kitchen/dining area. Furnished with a plush leather sofa and chairs, oak furniture and equipped with TV, DVD player, Ipod dock and DAB radio, the living room is a lovely space for relaxing after a day visiting the sights and shops of Bath.
The contemporary kitchen has granite worksurfaces and fitted appliances, including a full-size dishwasher, fridge, freezer and clothes washer/dryer. You will also find a 'Nespresso' coffee machine (we leave you a few coffee pods to get you started) and a full range of china and glassware (including a few champagne glasses for any celebrations you might be planning!).
Both restful bedrooms have luxurious beds with crisp pure cotton bed linens and plenty of pillows and cushions. The large main bedroom has a 6 ft bed which can be separated into twins, Shaker style wooden furniture, a built-in wardrobe and a TV opposite the bed. The en-suite shower room has a spacious shower and a heated towel rail laden with fluffy towels.
The second bedroom is smaller but has a 5 ft king size bed which can also be separated into twins, a built-in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. This bedroom has a wall-mounted TV.
The family bathroom has a full-size bath with a shower over and a glass shower screen. As in the en-suite, there is a heated towel rail with the same fluffy towels.
Herschel Place is in the Bath Conservation Area and was carefully designed and built in 2008 to continue the line of the original Georgian terrace. All the characteristic architectural features of the Georgian terrace have been meticulously reproduced on the façade of the building but the development has the advantage of modern building techniques with insulation, draft-proofing and double glazing – a distinctly un-Georgian heating system keeps the apartment cosy all year round!
Free wi-fi can be accessed throughout the apartment.
Outside the front door of the apartment there is a small, gated patio area with table and chairs and an allocated, off-road parking space (a rarity for central Bath, a city where the roads were built for horses, rather than cars!).
Once you arrive at Herschel Place, a car is no longer needed as the heart of the city is on your doorstep. A level stroll of less than 10 minutes takes you past Georgian terraces, onto Pulteney Bridge and the centre of the city with its world famous sights and shops.
Even closer to the apartment are the beautiful Holburne Museum, Sydney Gardens and access to the towpath for the Kennet and Avon canal.
Bath has countless restaurants and cafes to suit every taste and many are only a short stroll away. Food shopping is also easy, with an excellent Waitrose nearby and several other supermarkets at a short distance.

For 2 night stays over bank holiday weekends Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights are charged as weekend nights (ie 2 night stay over a bank holiday is charged at £450).
For 3 night stays over bank holiday weekends Friday and Saturday are charged as weekend nights but Sunday is charged at the weekday rate (ie 3 night stay over a bank holiday is charged at £645).
Easter Sunday is charged at the weekend rate.
Terms and conditions (including our cancellation policy) are available on request and will also be sent with your booking confirmation. A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £10 is charged per booking, this insures you against accidental damage to the apartment.
LOW SEASON WEEKEND SPECIAL OFFER: stay Friday and Saturday nights during the low season and book Sunday night for £100. Contact us directly for this rate, as it can't be booked through either our website or the Holiday Lettings site (we need to create a manual booking for you).
Payment
If you book more than 4 weeks before arrival, we require a 50% deposit, with the balance payable 4 weeks before arrival. Bookings less than 4 weeks before arrival are payable in full, at the time of booking.

Absolutely wonderful! Alison was very helpful and arranged the ' dine in' service for us, which was delicious .
Apartment itself was very well equipped and comfortable. We used the Veezu taxi service to get around which was very reliable. Again, recommended.
Just to say also that it was very quiet, despite being by a main road and that the parking space was very good.
We will stay again

Amazing!
Everything was great about this lovely apartment. It’s nicely furnished, spacious and well equipped. The welcome pack was great and provided us with breakfast for the two mornings we were there. The location is excellent as it’s away from the hustle and bustle but still only a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Bath. There is a small Morrisons shop just up the road from the apartment which was very handy! The courtyard just makes this place especially as we were so lucky with the weather and able to sit outside each afternoon in the sun with a bottle of wine, heaven! Alison was extremely helpful in the lead up to the trip and the digital welcome book and guide was excellent. We were even able to check in early which we were very grateful for. We 100% recommend this apartment for anyone visiting beautiful Bath, we will definitely return!

Excellent stay, very caring host
Everything was perfect from start to finish, the host is very caring and have given attention to all details. The place is even better than what was expected or described. The pictures give a true reflection of the high standards the property has been furnished. We will definitely be booking it again.

Fantastic Stay and great location
Stayed in this beautiful apartment with 3 friends, spotlessly clean, lovely (breakfast) welcome pack and excellent app/communication from Alison. Ideal for walking into the lovely, vibrant city centre ((10 min walk), we had an excellent weekend and would highly recommend!

Great home away from home base to explore Bath!
Immaculate apartment hosted by a fantastic host! The apartment is a 15 min walk to the Bath Abbey, but is in a quiet neighbourhood. The beds were very comfortable and the host provided all amenities one could need, including a wonderful spread of bread, cereal, milk, butter, juice and beverages for breakfast. Should you need more there is a grocery strore a few minutes away and a Tesco Express about 9 mins wall. A great home away from home base to explore Bath. Alison was a host par excellence with her thoughtful on-line guide and little touches around the house, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Definitely a double thumbs up!

Great apartment in an excellent location. Faultless
The apartment is exactly as pictured and super clean. We were a party of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed out time there. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are quiet so we all had a good couple of nights. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. We even made a 3 course dinner there so there's sufficient crockery, cookware etc for most things.
When we arrived we discovered scaffolding outside but there was no activity so we weren't too worried. Alison called us though, without us contacting her, and apologised as the owner of the top flat hadn't alerted her to the work to repair a leak. It never became a problem for us but we were impressed with Alison. In fact she was fantastic throughout the whole booking process. I'd not hesitate to return to the apartment.

Great apartment
An excellent apartment in an ideal location for all the attractions in Bath. It’s a leisurely 10 minute stroll to the Abbey and Roman Baths. The apartment is comfortable and well appointed and has all you need for a pleasant break. There were some super extra’s too……….firstly there was a great welcome pack with bread, butter, milk, tea , sugar, jams etc for breakfast ……..very much appreciated. Secondly the owner has provided a superb guide . You download the app on your phone and the very well presented guide gives you details about the apartment, information on how to get there ( very useful!) instructions on how to use equipment and a really useful guide to the local attractions…………very impressive!

Great 3 day break
I booked this apartment for a 3 day break for a family of 4.
Alison the host was very helpful, providing as much information as possible from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout our stay going the the extra mile to make our stay was as enjoyable and easy - places to eat, tourist attractions and a lovely welcome pack on arrival. The apartment is located 10 to 15 minutes walk from the main town centre. On a lovely road passing quirky shops and great places to eat. Coop nearby to pick up essentials. The apartment was well maintained and cleaned to a high standard. Well equipped kitchen if you choose to stay in for the evening and cook. 2 bathrooms with lovely hot showers. An ideal base for exploring Bath. We had a great time and would highly recommend this place. We look forward to staying again. Thanks!

Fab Apartment
What a great place to stay in Bath. An immaculate and beautifully presented apartment with a well equipped kitchen and very Covid friendly. A pleasant 10 minute walk into town to sample some of the many local restaurants and bars. Alison has a good attention to detail with a nice touch of bread, milk, cereals and jams waiting for us. Would highly recommend a visit and will refer to our friend’s for a great stay in Bath. Thank you. Dave and Angie

Bath really does have something for everyone, from beautiful architecture to tempting independent shops, world-famous sights, elegant gardens for relaxing and spacious parks where children can let off steam.
There are numerous cultural festivals that attract world-class performers, including the famous Bath International Music Festival and an excellent theatre where you can see productions before they transfer to the West End.
The welcoming family atmosphere of Bath Rugby will appeal to anyone who likes sport. There is horse racing at Bath Racecourse, car and motorcycle racing at Castle Combe and numerous golf clubs, both in and just outside Bath. For walkers or cyclists, there are endless beautiful routes to take, many of which start from the apartment(to the rear of the apartment is a private lockable storage room which is ideal for safe storage of bikes and muddy boots). Other activities include cookery schools, glass blowing, chocolate making, etc., etc.....
Of course, Bath is famous for its Roman Baths and you can now bathe in Britain's only natural thermal spa at Thermae Bath Spa.
Shopping here is a pleasure - Bath is great for a spot of retail therapy!
