It has been lovingly refurbished whilst retaining many of its original features. The property has one master bedroom, furnished with a king-sized double bed, and a further second bedroom furnished with a standard double bed. Bed linen is provided and includes goose feather and duck down duvets together with feather and hypoallergenic fibre pillows. Both bedrooms have been finished to a high standard with beautiful fabrics and interior decor. The property includes a large upstairs family bathroom and one downstairs toilet. The upper bathroom is beautifully worked to include a bath, shower, basin, toilet, towel rail heater and storage for personal items. No.3 Powlett Road has a spacious, well decorated living room. The predominantly black and white interior of the living room hosts 2 x two seat sofas, period fireplace, television and DVD player. A DVD film library is included, including titles for children, together with a range of novels and books. The kitchen is fully equipped. It includes newly installed kitchen units and work tops, an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, kettle and toaster. The kitchen area accommodates a dining table and four chairs and provides access to a utility space including washing machine. Access to the rear garden is through the kitchen and down four steps. The garden is south facing and provides a large enclosed area that has been lovingly maintained over the years. A patio area adjoins the house and is ideal for sitting out or barbeques. The garden includes a lawn and has been planted with grape vines, ferns, soft fruit, edged by box and privet hedging. The garden also includes a large shed that can be used for the storage of outdoor items such as bikes and tents. Complimentary teas, ground coffee and milk will be provided upon your arrival. Should you wish for any additional food and drink items these can be arranged for your arrival (and charged accordingly). We can also help with restaurant recommendations and suggestions for for activities and entertainment. A parking permit is provided within the costs of the rental. The permit allows you to park one vehicle on Powlett Road (or the surrounding streets). No.3 Powlett Road will provide you with a beautiful holiday property from which you can enjoy the unique City of Bath and surrounding countryside. How to get there
When driving from the M4 motorway, exit the motorway at junction 18. Take the A46 southbound. Leave the A46 when directed towards Bath. After leaving the A46 take the A4 (London Road West). Proceed along London Road to the traffic lights at the Cleveland Bridge junction. Proceed left at this junction onto Bathwick Street. At the traffic lights at the end of Bathwick Street (in close proximity to The Crown public house) bare left and then immediately left again onto Forester Road. Powlett Road is the first left. Please note that Powlett Road is a one way street.
