Parking is adjacent to the Chalet. No electric vehicle charging is allowed on site.
Electric included. On site shop, cafe and Laundrette. Pitch and putt, tennis courts, ping pong table, Public wifi available (not guaranteed).
Please note Linen is NOT provided. You must bring your own duvet and pillows as well as usual bed linen.
We accept one well small/medium well behaved dog by request. Dunster is an all year round dog friendly beach.
Please remember to bring the following:
• Beach/Bath/Hand towels
• Tea towels
• Toilet rolls/kitchen roll
• Bedding, consisting of:
- Bottom sheet (double bed)
- King size duvet cover
- 4 pillowcases
DUE TO COVID GUESTS MUST ALSO BRING THEIR OWN DUVET AND PILLOWS
We prefer you don't allow dogs on furnishings but if this is unavoidable please ensure you bring a throw for the sofa etc
Dunster Beach Rules:
NO smoking in or around the property, candles and BBQ's are also prohibited. There is a designated BBQ area on site. Driving 10 miles ph. Dogs kept on leads at all times except on the beach.

This place is stunning ! A stones throw from the beach and nature reserve! Loved doing meditation and yoga on the beach and was lovely to have breakfast all fresco on the patio!
Chase is beautifully decorated and so so cosy! Decor is stunning x

Great chalet
Great weekend at ‘Seas the Moment’; Dunster Beach Holidays. The chalet is perfectly decorated in a coastal theme. Comfy bed, good hot shower. It’s in a great location overlooking the lake but has easy access to the sea too.

Lovely small chalet with a great location
The interior is all one room (bathroom excepted). This was fine for our trip but it gave total access to our German Shepherd and his claws made a racket on the floor at night. Not much open on the site at this time of year.
That said the chalet was very practical and lovely inside, very clean and well decorated. It was a lovely location with great walks along the beach or path behind in either direction. The site is right on the beach and this chalet is in the 2nd row. The site is well located to explore Exmoor and the north Somerset coast.

Great short stay in pet friendly beach chalet. Five stars!
My husband and I spent a couple of wonderful nights with our dog at this great beach chalet right on Dunster Beach. We can see why it gets booked up months in advance as it really is a perfect place to escape! The chalet itself is literally less than 30 seconds away from the beach and enjoys a lovely outlook overlooking a lake at the rear. The chalet is only small but the interior has been cleverly designed to maximise every inch of space and has absolutely everything you could possibly need for a holiday. Even the dog was catered for and had dog 2 bowls supplied,The chalet is decorated in a lovely blue and white beach style and was super clean. We often struggle with beds when we go away but the bed was one of the comfiest we have ever slept on. The weather wasn’t great during our visit so we didn’t you get the chance to sit out and use the outside seating areas but it must be heaven on a warm, sunny day to be able to sit and relax and watch all of the wildlife on the lake. . We literally loved everything about the chalet and definitely hope to return for a longer stay as soon as we can. Thank you Belinda for a lovely short break!

A wonderful place to stay
This was a brilliant place to stay. So well-equipped and laid out and in the perfect locations with 30 seconds to the beach and a view of the nature reserve. Everything was clean, there were dog bowls for my pooch and I'm looking communication with the owners was very swift and straightforward. Hope to stay again soon.

Trip down Memory Lane
Chalet was in a lovely situation overlooking the lake. There was an abundance of wildlife.
Modern & equipped with all we needed.

Wonderful
Just returned from a few days at ‘seas the moment ‘ and it certainly didn’t disappoint . Clean , modern and tastefully decorated , cosey and comfortable with everything you would need for a self catering break .
Wonderfully located with views over the ‘hawn’ from the sofa or comfy patio , loved watching all the wildlife . Also having the beach on your doorstep that is dog friendly all the year round was an added bonus and had some lovely walks , to Minehead and Blue Anchor Bay along the coastal path and to Dunster Village via the riverside path .
Would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to return

Cozy Haven
We visited Seas The Moment for a long relaxing weekend and that’s exactly what we had!
A perfect cozy haven , far better than we ever thought and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed and ideal for a couple who just wanted to chill. We walked on a quiet long beach and also around the nature reserve. The rear garden allowed us to sit comfortably with a glass of wine and watch the wildlife on the lovely lake.Everything was so easy from start to finish. Perfect, we can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Little Getaway
The beach hut was absolutely perfect. Extremely well presented and finished inside with everything a couple would need for a perfect getaway on the edge of Exmoor. We found the beach hut had everything we needed in terms of equipment, kitchen, bathroom etc. Superbly clean and excellent condition. Easy to access and very clear communication from Belinda all the way through. The beach hut gave us easy access to the coastal paths and Exmoor National Park, so walking and enjoying the beautiful countryside then returning to a warm, cosy escape was perfect for us. Highly recommend.

Dunster beach has a long sandy beach whereby you can walk to Minehead in one direction and Blue Anchor the other. There's the nostalgic Dunster train station that is well worth a visit, sit on the platform drinking tea watching the steam train rolling into the station. The Periwinkle tea rooms is a nice afternoon out where your dog is welcomed with a doggie biscuit, whilst you enjoy a cream tea. Dunster Castle and real working Water Mill is an interesting look back in time. With the Exmoor hills encompassing the Castle if you like walking then there are several different walks to enjoy, and if you're lucky you may well see the Exmoor ponies. The Northhill is also worth a visit, to watch the sunset over Porlock.
Getting around
It is advisable to have a car, but there are a lot of places to visit without a car if you like walking. From the chalet, Minehead, Blue Anchor, Dunster Village and Castle are all accessible on foot.

From Bridgwater come all the way along the A39 until you get to a large set of traffic lights with the turning to Dunster Village and Dunster Castle on your left. Continue straight ahead for approximately 300 yards where you will see a slip road to turn right on to Marsh Lane. Take Marsh Lane and at the end turn left past the housing estate and over the stone bridge where you should take an immediate right hand turn onto Sea Lane. Follow the road over the railway crossing, with care, and on down to the Beach.
