Lovely cottage and garden. Katarina and her family were very welcoming and even made us bread and an apple crumble! An added bonus was the badgers at the bottom of the garden (more or less). Highly recommended.

Management response:

Wanted to say how much we appreciate when people take the time to write a review. The badgers live in the Abbey grounds, which is on the other side of the stone...

The house has lots of well thought details to make your stay much more enjoyable (umbrellas, toys, dvds, maps, etc). We specially appreciated the owner's kindness and their suggestions as to children facilities and things to do in town. The house is so full of things ready to use that it felt more like a house swap. The back is...

I suffer from dust allergy, so you are assured of a high standard of cleanliness. Both the vacuum for guest use and our own has advanced Hepa filtration, and mattress protector covers are aired between each guest and frequently washed! Pillows are synthetic, duvets are 'like down' Microfibre. The double bed has a lush memory foam topper (received much praise).
