Interaction with guests
Whilst government regulations have been relaxed we continue to follow previous guidelines regarding social distancing, facemasks and cleaning to protect the health of all our guests, staff and ourselves and expect our guests to do the same. We do however, look forward to meeting, greeting and getting to know you, albeit from a distance,. If you need to come up to the farmhouse for assistance please knock and stand back 2 metres so that we can respond. We will not enter your cottage unless there is an emergency but it also means that if there is a minor problem you may have to vacate the property while we attempt to sort it , or wait for an engineer to call.

About the neighbourhood
We are told we are in a beautiful area (you don't always appreciate it when you live there) with lots of lovely walks, two good pubs in the village, interesting church with octagonal tower, bird sanctuary, nature reserve and two steam railways within 5 miles. Alton Towers, the Trentham Estate and Monkey Forest, the Potteries, Churnet Valley, Peak District all within half an hours drive. Sadly our 9 folders of tourist information have had to be removed due to Covid 19 so you will need to check details online.
Getting around
Although only 1 mile from the A52 it is about 2 miles to the nearest bus stop and there are no pavements along the A52.so a car is needed.
