Oak Cottage is our latest, last and, we hope, best, conversion. Situated on our smallholding in rural Staffordshire it is the perfect location for a peaceful retreat yet so very convenient for Alton Towers, the Peak District, Churnet Valley, Monkey Forest, the Potteries and our beautiful countryside. Oak Cottage has a downstairs double room with ensuite shower room, upstairs twin room with ensuite bathroom and a loung/dining area/kitchen fitted with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer. electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave - in fact everything we can think you may need. ...Oak Cottage is our latest, last and, we hope, best, conversion. Owners very friendly. Flowers were a lovely touch. Good location near to Derby, Trentham Gardens, Hanley - we used as a base for Christmas Shopping. Cottage just like home from home, cosy, clean and warm. Fab underfloor heating.

About the neighbourhood
Although very rural, we are only 1 mile off the A52 giving easy access to Alton Towers, The Potteries, Leek, Peak District, Uttoxeter and the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands. There are 2 pubs in the village of Dilhorne 2 miles away, lots of local walks (our lane has been busy with walkers during lockdown), Consall nature reserve 3 miles away and many visitor attractions in the area. Sadly we have had to remove our details of these due to Covid 19 so you will need to check current details online.
Getting around
The nearest bus stop is nearly 2 miles away on the A52 so you do need a car, bike or strong walking boots.
