This traditional picturesque village offers a quiet and peaceful location, with easy access to local amenities and eating out. Bury St Edmunds just five miles away offers a faster pace of life with its popular historic markets, restaurants, bars and night-life. The barn holiday annex offers privacy and space with a one bedroom, single storey living accommodation with king size bed and the option of one or two single 'Jaybee' beds or a cot to accommodate extra guests (children and babies). Said to be the best preserved in the country and considered of national significance dating around 1610, this sympathetically and recently converted barn offers a wealth of original features, furnished with a modern twist. Leading from the living room, double French doors open out onto the garden with table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay, this is ideal for that perfect getaway. Furthermore, our guests enjoy cotton bedlinen and white fluffy towels for extra comfort and luxury.More

Interaction with guests
The property is a beautiful and well established holiday accommodation. We love to communicate with our guests and share our knowledge of the local area if asked, but will equally leave you completely alone for a totally peaceful and private stay if that's what you need. We will provide some tea, coffee, juice and milk for your arrival. If there are fresh eggs available from the village farm then we will provide you a half dozen of these too :-) For a small extra charge we can also provide breakfast items such as bacon, sausages, fresh eggs (all local from the village farm), fresh bread and breakfast cereals, all of which you can order from us in advance once you have booked, just let us know what you would like.

About the neighbourhood
The market town of Bury St Edmunds is just 5 miles away. Take a stroll around the famous Abbey Gardens of St Edmund or watch a show at the recently refurbished historical Theatre Royal. The historic towns of Norwich, Colchester and Cambridge are all less than an hours drive. Visit the Suffolk coastline, just 40 miles away, famous for its exclusive, multi coloured beach huts. Suffolk contains some wonderful historic sites and buildings including the dramatic castles at Framlingham and the famous ship burial of an Anglo Saxon warrior king and his most treasured possessions at Sutton Hoo.
