A luxuriously finished room for short or long term lets with the ultimate in bed comfort from the King size Vi-Spring hand made English mattress and delicious down duvet. Breakfast goodies are supplied in your room, we don't supply a cooked breakfast - so you can laze and graze at leisure !
This is a great base for a holiday exploring Suffolk from the jewel that is Bury St Edmunds or for professionals needing independent living while working away from home.
We are just a few minutes from the A14 and have free all day parking right outside the house. We provide free wi-fi for our guests and a flat screen smart TV with radio and the room has its own private Entrance.

The Grey Room
Very impressed with the accommodation. Very comfortable and modern decor. Excellent position for walking into town and the impressive Georgian theatre Royal.

Perfect for my needs
The studio was very comfortable and in an excellent quiet location with parking. I could walk into the centre of town within 10 minutes and the train station within 15.I would return.

Sophisticated and comfortable studio in a lovely area with good access to town. Excellent breakfast provision.

Excellent room, for a great price
Very luxurious room for a great price. I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Great city and a great break away.

Great few days away!
Excellent place to stay! Cate is very friendly and accommodating! My little one loved his Easter biscuits! Would definitely come back again!

Feeling at home, comfortable and luxurious
I Have been stayed at the Grey Room for three months from July 1st to september 31fst and my stay was completely agreable and I felt as at my own home everyday. The room is spacious, more than it is shwon in the pictures, the bed is more than comfortable, soft and big to rest the entire night long (and the day too). The kitchen is complete with plates, dishes, glasses and all you can need to stay and cook, a microvawe and a fridge. The bathroom is modern and you feel like in a SPA when having a shower. The carpet is very soft and the room is very clean. Cate, the owner is very kind and she is there for you when you need it and you have all the independent you want. It was perfect for me to stay there and Bury is not far from attractions in Suffolk and from Cambridge where I commute daily.
