Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Beautiful, immaculate holiday cottage in a central location of Stratford-Upon-Avon.
Beautiful, immaculate holiday cottage in a central location of Stratford-Upon-Avon. Easy nearby parking and walking distance to all amenities, local pubs and tourist locations. Our host Claire was really helpful suggesting local restaurants and theatres, and some local discount tips too. A short drive to the Cotswolds and nearby National Trust Estates.

Warmest of welcomes
Having stayed at this charming property for many years now, I can highly recommend this letting. Claire is the most welcoming host. The property is spotlessly clean, and there is every amenity you could possibly want. It is situated in a very convenient position, so very close to all the main attractions, restaurant's and shopping. With the added bonus of on street parking. We will definitely be staying for many years to come.

Claire's warm welcome and all the lovely finishing touches were very special making our first impression of our new "hometown" a delightful one. Would highly recommend staying here for a homely feel and very easy access to the main attractions of Stratford Upon Avon.

Perfect location for visit to Stratford upon Avon
Great location in the centre of Stratford upon Avon. We came to celebrate Christmas with our young family and the house was perfect. Claire was great and even put up a Christmas tree for us. The house is well equipped and really a home from home.

Pefectly located home away from home
This home was a great find. Centrally located and had a parking permit allowing us to park for free which is costly otherwise. This house had everything and was "immaculate just the way we like" we would definately stay again and have no hesitation in reccomending this home to future guests.

Good House in a great location
The booking process was simple and communication with Claire was excellent. The house is clean, very well presented and in a great location for access to the town area and local attractions. The house itself is a tasteful mix of original features and modern design with plenty of space for four. The courtyard garden is bright and quiet and a nice place to sit and unwind. The COVID measures that Claire has in place are very good. Despite being on a main road the traffic noise is not disruptive and is minimal at night so we got great nights sleep in a really comfortable king sized bed. The parking permit is a real bonus and although I had to wait on occasion to get access to a parking space there was always somewhere to park using the permit but there is also a pay and display car park nearby where rates are reasonable. Unfortunately the dog next door could be heard barking from early morning but the family there have very recently moved in so I am sure that the dog just needs a little time to get used to the new surroundings. The house is a great place for a short break or longer visit to Stratford-Upon-Avon.

A perfect homely base for Stratford!
Very clean, very well furnished, surprisingly spacious in reality compared to the photos, everything has been done with a lot of care and no expenses spared with the quality of the furniture, kitchen, bathroom etc. Superb location, 5 mins walk from the town centre. ... and very importantly the owner is very friendly and great at communicating. Highly recommended.

About the neighbourhood
We are located in the centre of Town so from the moment you leave the property there is plenty to do and see. Go back in time as you visit the Shakespearean houses to see where the Bard was born, grew up and went to School. Be mesmerised by the black and whiteTudor buildings throughout the town centre or simply stroll along the river banks of the Avon. There is always the opportunity to hire a boat or take a river cruise and explore the waters around Stratford. The canal also provides great waterside walks and an opportunity to hire narrow boats and try your skill with the locks a real tourist attraction. You instead may choose to simply relax on an Open Top bus and hear all about the various attractions or chill out and people watch in the numerous cafes and restaurants. Enjoy the delights of Stratford market which was awarded the best private market in 2014 and attracts many visitors either in town on a Thursday or riverside on weekends with the Christmas markets opening later into the evening. The Theatres, as well as plays also offer tours behind the scenes and costume workshops throughout the year. For those with more energy we have plenty of cycle routes with a traffic free 5 mile route known as the Greenway taking you to long Marston with two cafe's en route for refreshments and where you can also hire bikes. Stratford also has a number of golf courses too: Menzies Welcome, Stratford Oaks, Welford and Stratford's most prestigious Club on the Tiddington road. The Butterfly Farm is a real hit with children (and adults too!) as is the Mechanical Art and Design Museum. There is a large park next to the river which has fabulous play areas for children and Tennis Courts and if the weather turns there is also the newly renovated Leisure Centre with a wide variety of sports on offer and Olympic size swimming pool. All of this is within walking distance of your front door The Stratford Armouries (about four miles outside the Centre) is also well worth a visit and has a lovely large indoor soft play area which is sure to be a hit with the younger children. For National Trust or Historic Houses You may choose to explore the beautiful Cotswold villages and senic countryside; be enthralled by a day trip to Warwick Castle; relish the beauty and historic content of Blenheim Palace; browse round the historic market towns of Evesham and Alcester; brave 'All Things Wild' - an exciting animal reserve with exotic creatures to see at close hand. For National Trust members or Historic Houses or lovers there is a wealth of properties and gardens to visit, including Charlecote Park, Coughton Court, Hidcote Manor Gardens and Ragley Hall which has a fabulous massive outdoor play center to mention but a few. You will have plenty to do and see in this beautiful part of the World. We hope you enjoy your stay with us
