Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Excellent Accommodation, Location, and Hosts
We had a fabulous week at New Inn House. Nick and Sue were excellent hosts and ensured everything was up to a high standard for our visit. The house is well appointed and very comfortable (our party consisted of 8 adults, a toddler, twin baby boys, oh, and Izzy the dog). There's plenty of parking in front of the house. There is plenty of space in the lounge, kitchen, bedrooms and outdoor areas. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need, including 2 corkscrews/bottle openers. There's a dishwasher in the kitchen with laundry facilities and an additional fridge freezer in the utility room. Beds are comfy, en suite and bathrooms have good gravity showers and plenty of hot water. I must admit, I've never seen so many wardrobes, hangars, and drawers in any property I've stayed in before, so you'll have no problem with storage. There is a large outdoor charcoal BBQ outside should you wish to cook al fresco and there is also a very good farm shop less than a mile away which I can highly recommend (and they have a cafe that does excellent food and sausage/bacon rolls!). The rear garden is extensive but not completely fenced in, so keep an eye on any pooch you may have that is prone to wander. There are TVs in most rooms and you have access to most of the Sky packages in the lounge if you want a little indoor TV entertainment (it's a smart tv so you can access your own services should you wish via wifi). There is also a pool table in the dining room which was well used during the week, space is a little tight on two sides of the table but there are a couple of shorter cues to compensate. The property is well located and very quiet during the day/night. It's only 20 minutes from Evesham in one direction and about 30 minutes from Stratford upon Avon, both well worth a visit. If going to Evesham put the 'Ringo' app on your smart phone before you go as most car parks are payable by Ringo only (£2 for 3 hours). The multi-story car park in Stratford upon Avon we used takes card payment and works on ANPR so just a case of putting your registration in and paying before leaving. There are a variety of NT and English heritage properties in the area, Charlecote Park is well worth a visit. For younger children Google soft play and petting farm which will give you Attwell Farm, lots of indoor and outdoor activities for all ages. The Butterfly Farm is also a must! One tip for reading the electricity meter at the end of your stay. As it's above the door in the utility room and difficult to see, just zoom in with your phone and take a photograph.

Excellent venue for family weekend
This was an excellent place for a family weekend. The house had all the room and equipment we needed, plenty of space in the garden for the children, located close to Coughton Court and Stratford, and not far from the Coop for provisions.

Fabulous large house for all the family
Had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful house standing in fabulous grounds with a lovely countryside view. Was very lucky with the weather meaning we spent most of the time outdoors in the garden. Grandchildren in the heated 28degree pool most of the time but a great play area and trampoline also to keep them amused. Inside house very large with plenty of room for all the family. House was clean with great bathrooms. Pool table kept adults entertained, as well as sky tv sports channel. Only slight negative is the additional fuel charges but we were aware of this when we booked. Thank you again Nick and Sue

Perfect family holiday.
A great family holiday with ages ranging from 3yrs - 70 years in a wonderful house which catered for everything needed for a memorable time . Plenty of space for everyone indoors and out . Rooms large and furnished to a high standard. Lovely bathrooms and a kitchen where you had everything you could want and more! The house was exceptionally clean. Outside everything was well kept and everyone enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool which was well used. The owner was meticulous in keeping it clean. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and nothing too much trouble. Even to the point where we left something behind and it was posted back by return. A week just wasn’t long enough. Close to and we visited Stratford Warwick Broadway and local attractions. We hope to return.

PLEASE read this before booking
Some friends and I booked the New Inn House for an end of summer getaway and were incredibly excited to embark on our trip as the property looked lovely in the pictures and booking had proved a nightmare with all that was going on with COVID. Within the same day of booking I received an email from Nick (the landlord) with an information pack and several URGENT demands for more money. Upon reading the information pack we found out that the pool would in fact be closed for our stay unless we came up with an extra £300. We attempted to negotiate this outrageous price but Nick was adamant that he would not accept any less than £300. We refused to pay this and read on to see that we also had to pay a compulsory £85 for fuel and electricity for our 3 day stay. Even had we been lucky enough to have the luxury of the heated pool that was plastered in our face upon booking, I think anyone would agree that £85 is a little steep. Regardless, we paid the money within 24 hours as Nick insisted it was URGENT and like I previously mentioned, booking had proved a nightmare and we were just happy to get away. We arrived on the Friday to find the house was generally quite nice although incredibly dated and far from clean. Some of the sheets had faded brown stains on them and there were no towels or any other welcome bits as you would hope to expect when you pay the sort of money they are demanding. We had a nice weekend despite all this and gave the house a good clean before we left, put all our rubbish and recycling in bin bags and left them by the bins as stated in the book for collection. Within 11 minutes of the check out time I received a very aggressive message from Sue (the other landlord) stating she was not happy we had left the recycling there and we had to take it to the bottle banks ourselves. Prior to booking this property I had done a fair bit of research and distinctly recall the landlords replying to a bad review stating that “There is a kind note asking if possible to take to bottle bank but not compulsory. We would never ask guests to take their rubbish with them”. (I have attached a screenshot). I apologised for this to avoid confrontation and messaged Sue regarding our deposit and my friends headphones which he had left in one of the bedrooms. V Sue denied that they were there but told me of some other items that we had left behind and I liaised a time for pick up (Sue chose “10am first thing”). 7 mins prior to this time Sue messaged me saying she needed to rush off to a meeting and left our stuff in a bin bag IN THE DIRTY RUBBISH BIN. I chose to ignore this as I didn’t want to cause drama whilst they retained our deposit and made an enquiry as to when we would be receiving this deposit back. After several deflecting responses we were eventually told we would have to wait until Friday. I agreed and the following day sent one further text to attempt to retrieve my friends lost and expensive headphones which he was sure he had left in the bedroom. I stated that there was tracking on the headphones and they were showing up as in the vicinity of the property. Would you believe it?! All of a sudden Sue has found the headphones and is demanding that I collect them as a matter of URGENCY. I said that I would rather wait until Friday so that whilst I was there I could discuss any potential deductions from our deposit. I was then ignored. On Friday Nick emailed me with a list of items that needed replacing and other various excuses to warrant them keeping as much of the deposit as possible. These included: Dirty sheets that were already dirty prior to our arrival; various basic cleaning jobs anyone would expect to have to carry out after renting a property; deductions for them having to take our rubbish for us; accusing us of stealing items such as ice bucket tongs. The list goes on! They also claimed that we only had £5 left over from our £85 electricity and fuel despite not having used the central heating or the heated pool. I sent an email back with a kind offer of £50 to pay for a couple broken champagne flutes and a chopping board. I also said that I would not post a review anywhere to expose them for the money grabbing thieves that they are. This offer was luckily accepted and £250 of the £300 deposit was returned. I then liaised with Sue to pick up my friends headphones and finally be done with this traumatic ordeal. I gave Sue an ETA and again she said she would not be there and instead she would have to leave the headphones in the same place as last time... This time however instead of putting the item in a bin bag, they opted for the choice of a USED sandwich bag. Yes you just read that correctly. The headphones were covered in crumbs and I have attached pictures as proof as I know that it is genuinely UNBELIEVABLE that someone with even an ounce of respect would do such a thing. I honestly never in my life have dealt with such nasty, stingy, rude people with such a lack of human decency. I sincerely urge you to think twice about booking this property as this pair genuinely deserve NOTHING.

Unfortunately a group of immature students who did not respect the property and they had to pay for damage they had caused during there stay so therefore they left a sour grapes review that does not give a true reflection of our property.

Newinn house
To celebrate my wife’s 70th birthday we spent a lovely week at Newinn house. Luckily we hit the wall to wall sunshine which allowed us to maximise the out door facilities; grandchildren never out of the pool. We hired a chef from dine indulge who gave us a splendid meal on the wife’s birthday. All in all we had a fantastic time and never left the property other than to fetch food in. The hosts were really nice people who greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Sadly I’ve left it too late to go back this year but I’m sure we will be back 😄

Wow!!!
Love this place. Would recommend to anybody. Very clean and has huge gardens, ideal for my children. Shame the pool wasn’t in action due to the time of year as it looked brilliant. Will be booking when it’s open! The owners were lovely and were available the only time we called them.

Avoid, terrible
Where to start, our wonderful family holiday was not as wonderful as it should have been. Generally dirty. Overpriced for location and facilities. Unhelpful staff. Altogether disappointing.
