Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Perfect for a family get together
A great place for a family get together. It is in a stunning location with lovely walks and views all round. The cottage is really well equipped and Paul did everything to make sure we had everything we needed for our weekend. The hot tub and log burner were perfect for an autumn weekend away.

Mutton Barn is a real gem. Really well equipped comfortable house with quality furnishings. Paul and Farnaz were really welcoming, excellent communication and a good amount of information before we arrived and upon arrival. Hot tub was lovely. Very picturesque and peaceful location. We love Mutton Barn!
This was our third stay at Mutton Barn. We have visited during the summer months and love picking blackberries and plums on our long walks through the countryside. Our December visit was just as wonderful. The crisp air and horse and deer watching was magnificent and truly regenerating. Can't wait to go back!

A little slice of heaven
Having just returned from a weeks break at Mutton Barn, I can honestly say there are no words for the spectacular views you will be greeted with at this beautiful Barn. The Barn itself is gorgeous and brilliantly equipped. The hosts Paul and Farnaz are close by if you need any tips for the local area. We found this to be the perfect location for days adventuring out to the local area, short or long walks or just simply relaxing at the barn. We loved our stay so much we have already booked again for next year.

Well appointed house in beautiful spot with great views
A lovely few days with friends with plenty to do and see. Lovely walks straight from the house - lots of woodland and carpets of bluebells everywhere, it felt like we had escaped for a few days.
