Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.

Relaxing break
Nice quiet location - well furnished - all conveniences - shame about the weather - the.view of the wildlife, horses, squirrels were a bonus

Excellent break
Stayed in Oak Tree lodge, just outside Stratford upon Avon and Henley in Arden. Excellent quality accommodation, outstanding location in the rural countryside. Would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

Nephew's wedding
We came down for my nephew's wedding on the 28th May 2021. Beautiful lodge. Had every modern facility fitted. Set in lovely countryside. Quiet location. On a farm. Two or three horses in nearby fields. Could recommend this property to anyone. Sadly it is not pet friendly due to horses in nearby fields. Was about 8 miles down to Stratford-upon-Avon. Lovely owners of the lodge.

Lovely and peaceful
Booked to stay here for 3 nights. Communication about the lodge and how to check in was great. First impressions were just what we had imagined, gravel drive 3 horses in their stable, and the lodge, that was it....perfect!! The lodge inside is spacious and all on one level. I always check out the kitchen whenever I go away as I love to cook and I wasn't disappointed. Everything you needed was there, and the welcome pack was a lovely touch, butter, jams, milk, tiger bread and a bottle of wine! 😋 They even supplied dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, shower gel and soap. The lodge was lovely and clean, couldn't fault it. The bed was king size and very comfortable and the shower was powerful and had a endless supply of hot water, it also had recycling bins behind the property which I liked as many places just expect you to throw everything in together. This place was very relaxing and quiet, no road noise at all, but still only a 15 minute drive into Warwick town and lemmington spa, takes about 20 into Stratford which is perfect. If I had two niggles, one would be the seating arrangements in the lodge, this place would be perfect if it had a table rather than bar stools, but that's just my personal opinion, and the other was the lodge being a little cold, there is no fire, and no instructions on how to use the heating. I did however discuss this with Tina the owner after we checked out and she was disappointed that we hadn't text her to inform her as she would have rectified this. This however did not spoil our break and would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Thank you for your review - it is very much appreciated. Just wanted to let you know we took your advise and now have a table and four chairs in the Lodge in addition to the bar and stools;. It isn't very large so it doesn't spoil the feeling of spaciousness in the living area. Many thanks Tina

Excellent Get Away
Absolutely fantastic break down near Warwick and Stratford. The barn conversion is beautifully done, with two great sized bedrooms and a huge open plan living area. Well set up for small children and so quiet too. It feels like the middle of nowhere despite being only 15 minutes from Stratford and Warwick. We had a fabulous break and would happily come back again.

First trip to Stratford upon Avon
Ideal location for exploring Stratford upon Avon and surrounding area. Very comfortable cottage was a delight to stay in for the week Quite and relaxing location not overlooked and had every thing we needed , just horses and rabbits for neighbours. Had a great Gluten free meal at Benson's in Stratford in the high street with wide selection and options

A real gem!
My parents and I could only find good to say about our stay in this comfortable, peaceful, light and spatious, modern home. Tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything one could need, including a generous welcome pack. The beds are wonderfully comfortable. We enjoyed going for walks in the beautiful surrounding lanes, exploring the local villages and loved watching the horses and rabbits! Tina and Steve were friendly and helpful and sent excellent communication ahead of our arrival. We are already looking forward to returning next year!

All the comforts of home
My wife and I stayed in this well-appointed cottage. The instructions for access were simple and it was nice to have the horses as neighbours. We were on holidays from Australia so having the washer / dryer was attractive. The kitchen was well equipped and the living area was spacious. We found everything was as advertised and really enjoyed our stay.
