nice flat and comfy bed, kitchen well equipped if you want to cook, nice shower, lots of hot water and powerful, owner very helpful and approachable. location is 10 mns walk from the Theatre and close pubs. for food and drink. will stay again happily.

This was a nice find in the centre of Stratford, Susie, the owner was very helpful all through the booking. The apartment or cottage is right on the canal, where we sat facing the window having our breakfast. Watching the ducks and swans. Location perfect and a bonus that it is next to the canal. Contained everything that we needed and some little extras that very thoughtful. Owner very easy to deal with provided clear directions on how to find the apartment and how to access. Stratford a great little town.

Stratford-upon-Avon is a market town with more than 800 years of history, containing not only many buildings that survive today and would have been familiar to Shakespeare, but also a wide variety of attractions, shopping in both national chain stores and small independents, numerous bars and restaurants and the beautiful Bancroft Gardens, where you can stroll alongside the canal and river, admire the stone monuments, enjoy ice cream or coffee from one of the barges and maybe feed the Swans, geese and ducks too!

Bancroft place is situated off the main one way system in central Stratford......If driving, turn immediately right past the Pen and Parchment Pub and the property is the first one on the LHS - Parking is in the bay immediately next to the property. If walking from the railway station or bus terminal.....walk is about 10 mins south of station ...past shops until the main one way traffic system (BHS last shop) cross over at the pelican crossing, over the canal bridge and Bancroft Gardens is immediately left!
