In our efforts to protect our environment, air source heat pumps provide underfloor heating throughout the barns, with individual room thermostats for you to control. This is supplemented by wood burning stoves with wood supplied from the farm. Solar heating provides all the hot water and a rainwater harvester provides water for the washing machine and flushing the loos. The area is ideal for walking or cycling through beautiful countryside teeming with wildlife such as deer, pheasants, kestrels and red kites. In the evening look out for badgers, tawny owls and pipistrelle bats. The woods above the farm are a picture in May and June with bluebells and wild orchids. From the top of the farm on a clear day there are stunning views of Chichester Harbour and the Isle of Wight. A footpath runs alongside the garden leading directly to a pub in the village of Stoughton,10 minutes walk through scenic woodlands. A 20 minute walk in the opposite direction along a country lane and fields leads to a pub in the village of Walderton.More
