We have just enjoyed a relaxing stay in the most glorious setting. Pitlands Barns is set in beautiful Sussex countryside surrounded by many things to do. We stayed at Pitlands Barns for my sisters hen weekend and couldn't have been more delighted with our choice of accommodation. The barns are stunning and done to such a high standard. The Huxhams were also incredibly welcoming - lovely cake and bottle of wine when we arrived. Thank you, thank you, for the most wonderful weekend.

Pitlands Barns is situated on a working farm between the villages of Walderton and Up Marden in the heart of the South Downs National Park. From the top of the farm on a clear day, there are stunning views of Chichester harbour and the Isle of Wight. Walk or cycle on the many footpaths and bridleways through ancient woodlands and beautiful countryside in the surrounding area. These footpaths link to the Southdowns Way, a 100 mile footpath stretching from Winchester to Eastbourne. The nearest pub is two miles by road, but only a 10 minute walk through the woods. The nearest village shop is 5 km away.

The historic city of Chichester is 8 miles away with its Cathedral, The Festival Theatre, Planetarium and Galleries.
