It epitomises rural living and yet is less than one mile from railway stations (to London) and the M4 motorway. Little Chauntry is ideally situated a 15 minute car ride from Heathrow Airport and a short stagger to the local pub! A major supermarket is only a few hundred yards away. 15 minutes drive to Legoland. There is secure parking for two vehicles ONLY on site. The cottage is sun-filled and warm with central heating and a cosy gas coal fire in the living area. The conservatory area has a southerly aspect overlooking the cottage garden. The Kitchen is equipped with all new European appliances and dining for eight. There is ample & comfortable seating in the lounge. The gadgetry includes three LED televisions (lounge, main bedroom and guest bedroom), free WiFi and very fast broadband. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms. Linen, towels and hairdryers provided. The master with walk-in robe, the second bedroom with a private en-suite and the third bedroom. The master and second bedrooms have SUPER KING SIZE beds which can be separated to king single beds. The third bedroom has a double bed. Travel cot, high chair and stair gate available by request at time of booking. Little Chauntry has full central heating. Lake End Road, where Little Chauntry is located, leads into Dorney Village (1 mile), where the Olympic rowing took place and where cows graze on the common. 2 miles further is Eton College and historic Windsor, home to the Royal Family. The river Thames meanders close by and the village of Bray, where fabulous restaurants such as the Waterside Inn and the Fat Duck are located, is less than 5 miles away - approachable by road or by boat. Other local attractions include Legoland, excellent shopping in Windsor, and high speed rail to London from nearby Slough station. You don't need to go that far though to see working farms, stables, the Jubilee River wetlands and open countryside which is all at your doorstep! The flexibility of this wonderful property makes it ideal for romantic getaways or holidays. In addition, there is a beautiful wedding reception venue close by (Dorney Court) and Little Chauntry would be ideal for the wedding party to stay. More

About the neighbourhood
Windsor is best known for its Royal connections. The world-famous Windsor Castle is almost one thousand years old and a visit to this royal residence is certainly top of the list of things to do in Berkshire. Windsor Castle is one of the homes of the British Royal Family and brings with it all the pomp and ceremony of the royal household. The regular changing of the guard ceremony, state visits of foreign dignitaries and even the occasional Royal Wedding means there is always something to see. There are many excellent restaurants in Windsor. If you are thinking of eating out in Windsor you won't be disappointed.
