Garden furniture Attractions and nearby amenities The Cotswolds is famous for honey-coloured stone buildings lining wide streets. And the perfect example is Broadway – as its name suggests, there's a wide street to wander down, and you'll find plenty of interesting boutiques and tea shops to visit. One must-see attraction is Broadway Tower. On a clear day you can see 16 counties from here. This is ideal walking country, and the Cotswold Way passes right by. Visiting during June or July? Then head straight for the lavender fields near Snowshill. One great place to see them is Hill Barn Farm. Make sure to get here before harvest, otherwise the purple blooms will all be gone. If you like collecting things, you'll love Snowshill Manor. The owner Charles Wade filled every room with a bewilderingly huge variety of curios and collector's items. The gardens are a lovely setting for a stroll too. Hidcote Gardens were designed as a series of outdoor rooms, creating an ever-changing landscape that is a delight to wander through. You can buy freshly grown produce on-site too. Chipping Campden is a beautiful Cotswolds town, with over 250 listed buildings. But this isn't a community preserved in aspic, there's still lots of bustling activity going on, especially on market days. Upper and Lower Slaughter are famous for being two of the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds – quite a feat as there's no shortage of competition!
