We were visiting from New Zealand and were sorry we only had a few days there.
We would definitely stay at Brynheulwen again, but for longer next time!! There is also a downstairs bedroom which was great for my elderly sister who has trouble with stairs. Our hosts gave us lots of helpful information on places to visit and made sure we had everything we required.

Wonderful cottage in a fantastic remote location, where all you can hear are sheep! and birds but its just 5/6 miles from Aberystwyth. The owners (who are extremely helpful) have done a great job of renovating this old barn into a 4 star large holiday cottage. We choose it because it has a downstairs en-suite bedroom, which was perfect for my elderly mother-in-law. It does have a few steps up to the sitting room, but she found these ok to deal with. It is very spacious, so great if you're traveling with different age groups. It was spotlessly clean and the furnishes are to a high standard. Would highly recommend. One tip though: if you like walking and use an os map don't rely on the footpaths being open, they aren't!! The bridle paths seem to ok though, and the local roads are quite quiet.
