The Annexe is also part of the main building, but is completely self-contained. <BR>It can accommodate 4/7 guests, and has the added feature of being able to be opened-up into the House and the Snug to make one large unit for up to 20 guests.<BR><BR><BR>There are two bedrooms upstairs and an additional sofa-bed in the downstairs lounge. The rear bedroom has two single beds and has its own entrance to the rear garden. On Arrival, we were greeted with a very steep road, which is used to access the holiday lets. The first 25feet of this road is made up of loose gravel/stones (like a farm path), which took 3 attempts to drive over due to wheels spinning on the gravel.

When we arrived at the holiday let (The Annexe) we were supplied with some complimentary, full, dog poo bags outside our front door, which were there for the duration of our stay.

Entering the Annexe, there was a strong smell of dampness, which was followed by looking at the ceiling to find parts hanging off with damp patches dotted about.

The cooker did not work, so any food we were to buy in had to be able to be microwavable. The bottom panel of the cooker was removed, as if it was going to be fixed, but nothing was done.

One of the dining table chairs had a 45 degrer leg on it, which had a possibility of breaking if sat on.

Accomodation describes 2 bedrooms, with one having two single beds and one with a double and one single bed. The room with 2 singles, they are not single beds, they are very narrow, can only be accessed via the double bedroom, so no privacy. The mattresses on all of the beds are that old that they are almost non existent when you lie on them. Very lumpy and worn. Bed linen is bobbled and smelt musty, duvets very old and pillows more like a bag of lego than a pillow. Had several bites on my legs after the first night.

The whole house is very tired, cobwebs and dust everywhere, carpets worn and even torn in several places in the living room. Sofa bed in living room is very hard and has a metal bar running through the middle of it so not really useable as a bed.

The ceiling in the living room is stained in several places, presumably by water from the bathroom above.

All the windows are filthy and the outside of the house is very overgrown, especially round the...
