Built around 1840, this cosy cottage is a haven for a single person or a couple. It offers warm and comfortable accommodation all year round in the attractive, sleepy village of Penmachno and makes a great base from which to explore the hill and forest walks in the surrounding area or indeed the whole of Snowdonia.<BR><BR>The cottage sleeps up to 2 in one double bedroom with TV and adjacent shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC. There is an open plan living area with modern kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge. Leading off the kitchen is a small paved yard. The sitting area has a wood-burning stove in a large stone fireplace, TV with FreeSat, video, DVD player and CD player. The cottage was set in a picturesque Welsh village surrounded by mountains. The cottage had everything you needed to make your stay cosy and comfortable. We found it useful to take provisions for our stay as the shops are quite a few miles away. Snowdon was only about 25 minutes in the car. Betws y coed was only about 6...

Llondy is in a good position to explore the snowdonia National Park. It was warm and had everything we needed.

Ferry: Holyhead: 77.0 km
Getting to us by Road<BR><BR>From A5, two miles east of Betws-y-coed, at Conwy Falls Cafe, turn onto B4406 towards Penmachno. Follow road through village (approx. 2 miles) , cross bridge, The Eagles is in front of you. Llondy is in the terrace on the other side of the square from the Eagles and John St.<BR><BR>Getting to us by Public Transport<BR><BR>Betws-y-coed Station 4 miles. Bus 64 from Betws-y-coed to Penmachno <BR> (Please note: buses do not run on Sundays or Bank Holidays). <BR><BR>From Ireland or London, or stations between London and Holyhead, change at Llandudno Junction for Betws-y-coed.<BR>
