The barn has been thoughtfully converted to a very high standard to provide comfortable self-catering accommodation in three separate cottages that have to be rented as one unit. Blue Brook- Green Gallop- Red Ridge Blue Brook has a large glazed dinning area with an oak dining table seating 15 and open plan sitting room so that everyone can eat and socialize together. In all cottages: Oak floors and staircases and welsh slate complements the original beams and stonework whilst each property benefits from warm terracotta tiles with under floor heating, modern showers and a romantic freestanding bath in Blue Brook. Access to a washing machine in Red Ridge and Green Gallop. All good quality bedlinen and towels are provided. Electricity and efficient under floor heating. LCD TV with Sky Freeview and DVD. Ample parking. Large outdoor area with furniture and BBQ. Large paddock play area. Limited mobile reception. Storage for mountain bikes, canoes and surfboards. Cot and Highchair. Non smoking. No Pets. The River Crai runs at the back of the barns, for this reason the properties are not suitable for young children unless strictly supervised. The area has abundant wildlife including otters, buzzards and red kites nesting nearby. There are numerous walks from the farm, within a few minutes walk is the picturesque Crai reservoir with Brown Trout fly fishing, the Geo Park area with its glacial lakes, the large Cnewr Estate, forestry and high commons, waterfalls and the Sarn Helen Roman Road popular with mountain bikers. Brecon is 14 miles, whilst the sandy beaches of the Gower Peninsula are a 45 minute drive. The owners have an extensive knowledge of the local area for those on foot, bicycle or horseback, they also speak Dutch, French and German. The stables are situated close to the cottages, ideal for horse lovers, with stabling available. The Crai river (SSSI) runs alongside the back of the cottages and the large outdoor sitting BBQ area. There are fabulous views over the green rolling hills and river from the kitchen and bedroom windows.More

NOISE: The cottages are part of a working farm with retired horses set in a tranquil environment.Most of the groups come here because of our peaceful location - We request our guests not to make loud noise outside. At 23.00hrs we ask all guests to go inside to keep our neighbours happy. No limitations on the celebrations inside.This might not suit all groups so before you book please make sure we are the right venue for your stay.Maximum-total of 15 persons - this number must not be exceeded
