Set in the most glorious countryside, surrounded by rolling fields, woodland and 180 acres of farmland with grazing cattle, red kites soaring overhead and a wealth of interesting trees, flora and fauna. Beautifully converted to an exceptionally high standard from the original 17th Century barns, the two cottages have a contemporary, yet comfortable and homely feel. The craftsmen builders have retained the original oak beams, and some of the stonework. Just got home from a wonderful weekend at the Bull Pens. What an amazing cottage for 8 friends to celebrate a special birthday. Fiona was a great host, even offering to organise minibuses and restaurant bookings for us. The welshcakes, cheese, milk and wine were also a lovely touch. You'll struggle to find a more peaceful place , we visited as 2 family's for my pals 40th birthday , so much space the pictures don't do it justice , book it you won't regret it

Perfect for relaxing break -fab scenery and tranquility. Hot tub was amazing! Celebrated a special occasion with group of friends and made wonderful memories . Fiona was perfect host, welcomed us with welsh cakes! Would highly recommend - and would visit again.

From Abergavenny, Hereford or Cardiff direction, arrive at the Brecon bypass roundabout and take A40 to Llandovery. After exactly 3 miles, turn right by bus shelter.<BR><BR>From the West on the A40, approximately three miles from Sennybridge, turn left, prior to the bus shelter. Sign posted to Llanfihangel Nant Bran.<BR><BR>From this point, the journey is the same from both directions<BR><BR>At T-Junction turn right.<BR>After ½ a mile turn left.<BR>It is sign posted to Llanfihangel Nant Bran at all these junctions.<BR>Continue on road for 4 miles.<BR>Driveway is on the right, well sign posted for Pentregwyn and The Bullpens.<BR>
