Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Good accommodation. Lovely setting.
The cottage was nicer than we expected from the pictures. Location is remote but only 4 miles out of brecon. OK when you get used to the single track lane. Lovely countryside around the farm. Beds all very comfortable. We were a group of 6 friends and the cottage worked out very well for us. We enjoyed the pool table!

Beautiful setting and lovely cottage
The whole experience was excellent. The cottage was great and had everthing we needed. The setting was fabulous, sheep and views on the doorstep and the owners were friendly and helpful. Would have liked to have stayed longer as it was incredibly peaceful and we were lucky with the weather. Would recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic, tranquil location
Stayed with parents and 2 children (7 and 10). PLenty of space for the family to spread out so we did not feel on top of each other and the house had everything we needed for the week. Was a lovely quiet location but easy to drive into Brecon for any supplies or food. Great scenery and lots of different activities in easy driving distance.
Owners were very pleasant and helpful and a good source of local information. My girls are desperate to return again and did not want to come home.

Lovely remote location but still close to a lovely town
A large group of us came for a long weekend of mountain biking. We had a wonderful stay and will hopefully be returning in summer. There was plenty of space for everyone and clean, well looked after. Very helpful owners who made everything easy. We visited bike park wales, Afan and Cwmcarn for cycling which were all within an hours drive. Very remote location with lovely countryside.

Friendly farm cottage in beautiful countryside
Our families were made to feel very welcome by June and Graham. The facilities were perfect for our week long stay, with everything we needed! Fishing in the lake (safely fenced away if you have very young children) and the friendly sheepdogs were a great hit with the kids. Conveniently located for Brecon and countryside walks in the Beacons, we'll be back!

Perfect setting on working farm.
We have been coming hearer for 20 years and still find new places to explore. June and Graham are excellent hosts and the cottages are well equipped. If you enjoy wildlife you will appreciate the setting with red kites, buzzards, owls, foxes and lots more. The Brecon Beacons are within easy reach and there are good walks from the doorstep too. It's an idyllic place to stay with views of the Black Mountains and the Beacons. Highly recommended!

Fabulous!
We stayed here with a group of 10 of us for the weekend. We selected this location as there were good reviews and it was possible to accommodate all of us by using two cottages. There was fishing on-site and was ideally locate close by to activities, such as paintballing.
The owner was very helpful and even arranged for a taxi for us (as we were unable to pronounce the cottage name!). The accommodation was as promised and was clean and tidy - as you'd expect/hope.
I would recommend the cottages to groups or families. We definitely plan on returning.

Lovely peaceful location for family group
We've been here twice with all ages from 1 to 60 plus and had a great stay both times. The cottage is warm, cosy and well-equipped and the owners very friendly and welcoming. Really lovely peaceful location but close enough to Brecon for shopping, and loads to do in the area.

ideal country retreat
we have just returned from a fabulous weekend in cottage 1,the cottage has a quirky room set up which adds to its charm and has wonderful views and a pretty and generous size garden, the pool room was great for the children(and big kids) when the weather was not so good.I Was a little concerned that the living/dining/kitchen area might be a little small but as a group of 4 adults and 3 9 year old boys we were perfectly comfortable.
The owners June and Graham were welcoming and helpful and if you try the fishing find graham for some tips
